After spending almost an hour setting up an order on their website (with an AI assistant constantly trying to push stuff on you), there was no confirmation email. I called the next day to see if the order got through. A sleepy gentlemen answered the phone and mumbled apathetically that he'd check and get back to me. He never did. I left a message the next day, asking for a call back to find out if my order had come through. I got a text on my phone the next day, reading: "Thank you for reaching out to The Best Screen Printing company. Please send us your design, when you need it by, size breakdown and quantity for your order at sales@tbsp.la to get a free quick quote.". So we were back to square one, with 3 days just out the window. I emailed them and explained that I had submitted an order through their website days earlier. They emailed back and said they wouldn't honor that order. They told me if I wanted to pick up any t-shirt by Monday, they'd use a lower-quality (!) t-shirt and charge an additional $20 above the additional rush order fees they had already added. I never write reviews, but here I felt compelled to.

I ordered a full laptop decal to cover the front of my laptop, and the quality was subpar. The decal was covered in visible fingerprints, bent easily, and just looked overall poorly made. When I placed my order this past week, I specifically asked if I could pick it up by Saturday, and the person I spoke with confirmed that would be fine. He asked me to send payment via Zelle, which I did. To my surprise, I was able to pick up the order a day early, on Friday, which I appreciated. However, when I arrived, the four decals I paid $45 for were not even protected--he just handed them to me uncovered. The decals already looked of low quality when I received them, but I remained hopeful they might look better on my laptop. Unfortunately, that was not the case. The quality was terrible, so I sent him videos to show the issues and didn't receive a response. After being ignored, I called today to discuss the situation, and when I expressed my dissatisfaction, he dismissed my concerns by blaming the installation. He refused to take any accountability and even mentioned that they use the same material on cars. That's irrelevant--I'm talking about the poor quality of the product you made, not how you use it on other surfaces. I try to be fair, but I don't tolerate businesses failing to take accountability and instead shifting the blame onto the customer. That's simply bad business. I was informed that they don't offer refunds because everything is customized, but if a customer is genuinely dissatisfied, there should be some effort to make it right. That's how I believe good business is done, and I clearly do business differently. So, I won't be returning.

Otto was very quick to reply and easy to work with. He's extremely flexible with timing and was very accommodating to every single detail I asked. When we got the jerseys, we were satisfied with most of them, but I had concerns about a few. Otto agreed to look at them and "fix" them. He explained to me how sometimes the screen print might be a little bumpy because the surface of the jerseys were bumpy, but he'd apply more heat to fix my concerns anyways. So I can say, I hit the jackpot when finding LAB. When I first contacted Andy (Co-Owner), he was very professional. Andy listed to our schools needs and made time to explain what his company provide. He is clear, thorough and straight forward. He does not mislead you and if he makes a mistake on his end, he takes responsibility and fixes any issues we may have. Andy invited me to their shop, LAB in South El Monte, which is super inviting. All apparels he has available that he has to offer is hung nicely on racks ordered by company. Near by is a bar, which to me shows that they love to work and play at the same time. I met German, I believe he's the co-owner and is the main screen printer. German is also super nice and also very clear and straight forward. German explains the screen printing process, shows me the screens, how they are printed on from a computer, how the printer works and much more. I felt very welcome anytime I come to place, review and pick up orders. They do not have anything to hide. I design our school logos, which makes it an easier process for our school, and LAB does not care what the designs are and if they come in one color. Andy does not reject any designs or sends it back to make any modifications. He accepts it, helps tweak it and/or improves it. He's very flexible. As for pricing, LAB is the best price in town. As far as my research goes. Andy has always work to meet or beat any competitors price. As for the products, we've ordered sweaters, long sleeve shirts and T-Shirts, all came out as I designed it and mocked up by Andy. All mock ups Andy creates gives our school a visual of what the final product looks like, it takes alot of time on his end, but it's great to see what our product will look like. Once our order is complete, all apparels ordered are nicely packaged, ordered and clean. It's been a pleasure to work with LAB, our partnership will continue for generations to come even when my kids leave McKinley. Thank you Andy and German.
