At one point, he claimed a family emergency, and at another, he said his worker was taken away by ICE. Now, he has completely stopped responding to us, leaving our project abandoned and our property in a dangerous condition. I would not trust John or his company with any work. It's clear he is not reliable, and based on our experience, I strongly recommend that you do not hire him. He has shown himself to be untrustworthy and irresponsible, leaving us with an incomplete project and a mess to clean up. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere.

Fast forward to the storms we recently had, my roof held up great but my fence that has been installed since 2009 did not. I reached out to Jeremy to see if he knew anyone who repaired fences and low and behold, his crew did. Once again, they were at my house next day. Gave me a quote and once again the rest is history. I've got a new fence. Better than the original one, good quality of work and it was done in a day. There were some minor touch ups that needed to be done the next day but overall the fence came out great. I am super satisfied with the service and would recommend Jeremy and Texas Roof Guys to anyone!

The HOA hired Jeremy and his crew to trim broken branches, clear driveways and common areas, and clean up and haul away all the debris. They did that in approximately a week-and-a-half. Our community looked so good, while neighborhoods around us have only just now -- 6 weeks later -- been cleaned up by the City. And those neighbors had to do their own tree trimming and hauling of debris. Our HOA and community couldn't be happier! So if their roofing expertise is even half as good as the work they did with tree trimming and such, you shouldn't be disappointed.

Tim (owner) was excellent to deal with during the bidding process. Prior to locking a contract with Tim, we received quotes from four other companies, and Timberline provided the most complete overview of the job, expectations, and timelines. The attention to detail during this initial phase of the process left us with peace of mind and also allowed us to consider additional design details we were not immediately aware of. Once construction started, Timberline was extremely punctual and kept a very clean job site. Timberline's carpenters, painters, masons, and electrician are outstanding. We desired a very "clean" look to our outdoor living space, and Timberline guaranteed they would hide all wiring and even corrected some legacy aesthetic issues we had with the original wiring and siding. We are thrilled with how the new patio looks. The gabled roof with tongue and groove cedar ceiling is exactly the design my wife envisioned. She is very pleased with the craftsmanship. Timberline also worked with us to install a stone bar with limestone counter. The bar was measured to specification, in order to fit an outdoor refrigerator and incoming outdoor kitchen alongside it. Timberline matched the stone (Chocolate Oklahoma) with our pool to tie the backyard together and make both projects look as if they were planned out from day one. In addition, we also had Timberline's electrician install 6 recessed Philips Hue lights, a Philips Hue wall sconce, a 55" LG TV, two ceiling fans and place electric outlets for Sonos One speakers. The lights, TV and Sonos speakers are Amazon Alexa voice enabled, which allows us to create a lovely voice controlled outdoor space. At present we are only waiting on installation of our outdoor kitchen and Kool Cote, neither of which are the responsibility of Timberline, to consider the Patio complete. Tim has a great understanding of the outdoor patio aesthetic and also how it should function. His carpenters were absolutely great and knocked out the project on time and with clear attention to detail. During the project Tim recommended we use Super Solar screens for the patio which would reduce heat during summer and also allow for maximum privacy for our screened patio. The project turned out better than expected and we are truly grateful for how well Timberline did on the job.

The first time that we hired them, they did a thorough inspection of our gutter system and our roof. They did not try to upsell us on new gutters like other companies, and instead quoted us for simply re-attaching the rafters. With those cost savings we were able to afford to have them install a cricket on our chimney and put ourselves in code compliance (and even for that initially they weren't going to recommend a cricket and only did so after thoroughly inspecting the house and cross-referencing building codes). This past summer after we had a home inspector look at our home, they read through the inspection report and gave us a very reasonable quote to address many of the main concerns - including repairing exposed wood, damaged shingles, flashing, rotted fascia, etc. Once again they didn't upsell us and quoted us honestly on what services were and were not needed. 787 is a very honest and reliable company.

We struck up a conversation with a couple next to us and one thing led to another, we had hired Matt to do our kitchen remodel. Matt's team at 787 were excellent. Matt came by and spent a great deal of time with me and the misses in our kitchen. Not only was he extremely helpful in suggestions, colours and patterns for tile, he was also very well educated with current trends and price structures. What turned out to be a simple painting, ended up with complete restoration of our existing cabinets, custom installed slow close drawers and deep custom organizers for our 25 yr+ lower cabinets. New tile back splash, sink/faucet and new counter tops. It wasn't what I originally had planned, but I am so glad we had this all done. The kitchen looks amazing. The Job took much longer than anticipated, but that was totally on us. We decided at the last minute to add the counter tops, which needed to be done first. This meant a re-scheduling of everything else. But once the project started, I believe is was about 7 working days knocking it all out. All his team were courteous, on time, careful and cleaned up after themselves each time they were in. They also fixed a caulking issue in our new remodeled master bathroom and installed a new ceiling light fixture in our laundry room. Matt was there almost everyday to check in and make sure things were being completed in a manner to his expectations. And ours. He will be coming back to complete a few other projects we have in our mind.

We had filed a claim with our insurance company who used a drone initially to inspect our roof for damages. Unfortunately, with the drone, they could not detect any damage. I requested an inspector (human) come onsite to inspect our roof. Excellent work and everything went very smooth. Donald showed up at my house the same day and inspected the roof. He told me to contact my insurance company and let him know the date and time the adjuster would come out. So when I called him to confirm he would be available, he informed me that he's no longer working in Austin. Hmmnnn....he didn't know that 3 days earlier! Really??? Now I have to find another roof contractor and call my insurance back and look like the crazy one! Shady...just shady.

There's no damage to my roof whatsoever, and the fact he chose to ignore my sign is not only rude and disrespectful, but it shows his own ignorance.
