I paid $30 for this pizza. I understood it would be more expensive because it was gluten-free. Apparently the base price for that is $15.99. No problem. I was charged $6.00 for $1.50 of vegan cheese. I was charged $3.00 for about $.75 of crushed garlic and $2.50 for maybe a tablespoon of garlic butter around the crust. When I placed the order I saw it was $30 but some warning flashed about there only being a large size in this cauliflower crust. I thought my daughter and I would just share it, and I would pay the premium for it. When I got it, this is what it looked like. It was about the thickness of saltine cracker. this was my first time ordering from this restaurant and will be my last. Not great. Ordered 2 pizzas. Both had sauce and toppings centrally located in the middle of the pizza. No flavor. Sauces are thinned out. Needed extra dipping sauces to make a slice worth eating. If you live in the area, best to visit the Scratch Pizza on Bellegrave in Jurupa. Richer sauces, better builds, and same pizza deals. Left a tip only because the service was good. read more

I'm surprised to hear some say the customer service is ok.... Because I stopped in there today because I saw the signs outside for their specials. The two boys working in there must absolutely hate their job! They were both so rude! They charged me 25.00 for a medium veggie pizza and even though I thought that was a bit high I didn't complain. However the veggie pizza comes with five toppings and they clearly had a special for an extra large pizza with five toppings of your choice for 12.99 that they easily could have mentioned but since I did not say I want the special they charged me full price. Again I'm not worried about the money as much as how rude they both were! I explained when I first arrived that it was my first time eating there so I was looking at their menu and the young man taking my order acted annoyed by me looking over the menu. There was nobody else behind me waiting to order. I was the only one in there besides one other person that was seated at the one and only table they have. When I asked a question he made it very clear that he did not want to answer a question about the menu or explain the specials. I never leave reviews as I am much to busy to take the time to do so. However, I could not believe the disrespect and rude behavior from both employees. They gave me no receipt until I asked for one because I couldn't believe the cost. I guess I would feel a little better about it if the pizza was at least good! I got charged 3.00 extra because I requested extra garlic. The pizza had almost no garlic at all on it! I had to literally look for it. I would say it was less than if you had ordered light garlic haha!!! They were very reserved on all of the toppings! I was afraid that we wouldn't be able to find another favorite pizza place. I'd say that I'm a little picky when it comes to pizza, just because it's everywhere. Scratch came up on my Yelp search as the only one that delivers to us, apart from the common branches like pizza hut. It came highly recommended and I gave it a chance. Here's what I think: wow! I'm truly impressed. The crust is crispy, soft and chewy all at the same time - like the best kind of bread. They pride themselves in the handmade crust with no oil or sugar. Amazing! Take one bite and you'll notice that their toppings are really fresh. I just love the way they make it. We've only tried the scratch classic and the Hawaiian. Both are excellent choices. I want to try the BBQ chicken and the pizza el pesto next. If you're craving that super salty, dripping with oil type of pizza, this isn't your place. I notice that some reviews complain about their pizza being dry. I get it. This isn't what a lot of people expect from a pizza. Yeah not one my more innovative intros l, but all joking aside this is one of the better down home IE pizza establishments and you won't be disappointed! With a few visits now under my belt what I love the most in consistency. I've attempted to switch up ingredients in an effort to catch them slipping, but happily they've shown their legit. Has me saying Pizza Huh? Domin who? Major chains take note and step up your game! The daily deals are a pleasant savior and are just all around better deals. For around $20 you clearly get a pie worth every penny of each slice given. In total there are about 9 pieces to a large so it's well plenty for one or to possibly split. The dough itself is very light and won't leave you feeling like you've consumed a bus. There have been times where I've eaten the whole thing and walked away not feeling like I've eaten a house so kudos to that. The ingredients taste fresh and I highly recommend the garlic parmesan crust. It is surprisingly tame on the saltiness that could be all entailed of that crust so well documented their attention to detail and commitment to just healthy pizza. I've always done the build your own and that leaves the power in your hands for the experience you will have (so no complaining). The two stars are for the friendly staff and generous toppings. Our pizza was fresh and hot, but I couldn't really taste the sauce and the crust was chewy and hard to eat. I had to reslice the pizza with my own cutter. But honestly, the most disappointing thing was the up charges. The pizza was a reasonable price, but extra toppings are $2.50, extra bacon $6.00, and swapping my red sauce for Alfredo sauce would've cost $5.00. Also concerning is that post of the pricing wasn't listed on the board above the counter so maybe the clerk was misleading about the up charges? Idk. We were hungry for some pizza and decided to check this place out. It was a Wednesday night and we wanted something good with nice reviews and we landed on this spot. I did the online ordering and ordered a XL pepperoni pizza, family size cheese sticks, and a 2 liter of sprite for pick up. It was super easy and got an email confirmation right away. It said the order would only take 20 minutes so I ran to a store after I ordered it and then headed to grab the pizza. The pizza was ready and it was a nice and easy process. The place is small but has a few tables in the restaurant. Very easy to find. We only paid about $30 for everything we ordered which I did not think was bad at all! I kept hearing about this place on social media, so I finally decided to give it a shot. They were having a special for Pi day. 1 XL pizza with 4 toppings for $10.99! I ordered on their website, it was easy to navigate through and choose my toppings. In total I got 2 pizzas, 1 order of wings, and 1 order of garlic knots. I picked up the order about half an hour later and it was hot and fresh out of the oven. I really enjoyed the wings, they were fresh and the flavor of the buffalo sauce was perfect. The garlic knots were also good; they added fresh basil on top of them to give it that extra flavor. The pizzas were pretty good as well. I added garlic flavor to the crust for an additional price but I felt like there was a little bit of flavor missing from the sauce. All in all this is a pretty good pizza place. I'll probably be back to try their pastas and salads. Definitely thought they had a great price for a decent amount of pizza, wings and garlic knots. read more

I've been a customer of the Riverside location for 2 1/2 years. Normally I pick up but once in a while I opt for delivery. Today was the most horrible experience I've ever had with Scratch Pizza. When I placed my order online, the quoted time to delivery was 60 minutes. (Door-to-door, I live about 6 minutes away.) Since people are usually hungry when ordering pizza, the quoted time is important and is watched nearly to the minute. After 75 minutes, I called to ask when I could expect delivery. I was told it would be delivered in 10 minutes. When my doorbell rang, it was 90 minutes after I had placed my order. At that point, I was fuming mad and rejected the order. My issue was not how long it took. My issue was that I was misinformed when I placed the order. Had I been informed it would be 90 minutes, I would have chosen to spend my $33 elsewhere. Maria was offensive, condescending, and insulting when I called the store. For instance, she told this 62-year-old Network Engineer, "If you know anything about ordering food, we shouldn't have to tell you it might be late. Other people are nice enough to be patient." I do not need to spend money to be provoked into anger or insulted. I can get both of those for free! As much as I love the food, I am too offended to ever order from Scratch Pizza again. They have lost a loyal customer because of a misleading ordering process, but more so, because of a seriously rude and unprofessional employee who knows nothing about customer service or how to talk to people. On top of the bad experience, now I must deal with my credit card company to get a refund. UPDATE: Steven A., the owner, responded to my email within less than one hour of writing this review and refunded my $33. I know firsthand how a rude and disrespectful employee can give your business a bad reputation without you ever knowing. The crust was a bit mushy and flavorless, and I like a bit more sauce but that's just personal preference. The pepperoni stole the show, incredible and it was cupped and crispy. Just tried out Scratch Pizza's cauliflower crust pizza. It's an individual size. Portion size was perfect. Had I not ordered that crust, i would not have known it was made out of cauliflower. Their pizza is really good. Sauce was very flavorful and the cheese was portioned perfectly. I ordered the pizza with chicken and artichoke. They're not stingy on the toppings. The pizza had plenty. From ordering to table was less then fifteen minutes. Was greeted when I entered and one of the workers came around and asked how the pizza tasted. I will definitely be back. We have been eating at Scratch since they opened. I wouldn't say they have the best pizza in Norco, but they are up there with the best. My favorite is the "Tuscany" one of their specialty pizzas. It has a pesto sauce, tomatoes, basil, and chicken and is really, really good! We usually pick up from Scratch or have them deliver to the nearby micro-brewery, Sons Of Liberty.
