Save your money and go elsewhere. My daughter and I were in this store purchasing over $200 worth of music. We were using a Visa gift card to pay for a portion of these items when the owner/manager informed us that they couldn't process the gift card because of their antiquated transaction equipment. He said "we type the card information in manually and sometimes it works". Hmmm, sounds as if this has happened before and it'd be smart to update your systems to accommodate your costumers. He was rude and combative when we expressed how dissapointed we were that this happened. He doesn't want your business. The items are over-priced for used CDs and records anyway. read more

It's all crammed and the owner overprices the merchandise. It also disturbs me that this is supposedly an all family store and the owner posts half naked women on the Facebook page when he himself is married with a child. It isn't good for a business to advertise like that, especially with the location being in West Columbia, South Carolina. read more

I loved this place! You never know what you'll get with one of these multimedia shops. I went on Black Friday and they had some great sales. It was fantastic - packed with stuff. They sell tons of collectible figures (including pop funko), comics, records, tapes, dvds, cds etc. used and new. They had an incredible LOTR collectible figure corner. It was above an employee only area so I had to ask the employees to pull things down for me and let me walk inside a bit closer to read what was up on the wall. That was annoying to do but they were nice. They had a ton of stuff overall I haven't seen in other places and I spent a LOT of money here! :) read more

I'll be fair to say I don't know the entire situation.. but what I did witness infuriated me! Regardless of the situation the man or self proclaimed owner was antagonizing a customer. Maybe the customer was a pain... idk but even when he was being complicit the owner kept talking and mouthing off antagonizing the man. He kept asking for information that was already given to him and wanted to go back and forth for the last word. I come in from Augusta... never again! I walked in joyful and walked out pissed. I initially thought the customer was in the wrong but after hearing him say multiple times can you complete the transaction or give me my money back and hearing the owner keep saying "you keep arguing with me" I realized he's not trying to solve the issue, he wants to be in the right... so instead of putting a lid on it and doing what's needed to resolve the issue he focused more on stating his case. Grow up! I'm never returning here. read more

Never been to this place before for record shopping, but not bad. Way more selection of CDs than vinyl. There were some decent finds in the bins. Prices are moderate and it's a bit of a nerd factory. Good punk section. read more

Friendly staff and a great selection of comics! Eric definitely knows his stuff and has never let me down, even if he doesn't have it he orders it for me! And he's always got lots of recommendations and he always gets me right! This has become one of not my absolute favorite place to go! I found this store from a google search while in Columbia. The selection of horror movies was fantastic, as well as the comics and Funko pops, but I don't like feeling ripped off. 99% of their USED dvds were selling for $10, which was more than a new copy sells for from Best Buy or Amazon. A NEW Blu-ray version of a title I almost bought was $1 more than the used dvd on Best Buy's website. Maybe they don't know what each title is worth and don't price accordingly? I'm not sure, but after buying the 2 used dvds, I probably won't return. I made it known to the cashier that I could get 3 of the movies cheaper new from Best Buy than I could from their store. Their response was "oh man, that's a good deal!" No sir.. it's not just a "good deal," you're just ripping people off with certain movies. Be mindful when you shop here. No...not only do they have comic book related stuff...comics, figures, t shirts...etc. BUT, they have a huge collection of dvds, blurays, cds, vinyl...wall to wall insanity!!! 3-Stars for the vinyl collection. The selection is above average and the prices are a little higher than I am used to in Virginia but it might be the market. This could easily be a 4-5 star place, but without a listening station to check the tracks and quality it is hard to go above 3 stars. Also almost every record shop I have been to has a buy 5 get one free or some type of deal for volume. I do recommend this shop, you will definitely find a gem or two. I had 16 but put 1/2 back since I am traveling and could not check quality. read more

Neat store, but it's a little small. The merchandise is packed. I love that it's near my house though. I think his dance and hip hop collection is pretty awesome, but the rock section is pretty bare. If you're into comics, movies, or toys, it's really great. Like other folks said the prices do seem a little higher than other used record stores. read more

Super nice little comic shop that stays updated! I can't speak much on their music selection, but their comic selection is pretty awesome! My only complaint is that it's a pretty cluttered and disorganized place and can be kind of confusing to navigate. read more
