This place has been on my list of places to check out! Finally had a chance to get in today. I went alone and was very pleased with how attentive the staff was. The service was awesome. Location provides plenty of free parking. The ambiance was chill. They had live music today, which I thought was a great touch. I ordered fish and grits and a side of potatoes. Catfish was well seasoned and perfectly cooked. Potatoes were also seasoned well and I loved that they weren't greasy. My grits were ok. The menu said they had celery, onions, corn and a Cajun sauce. So I think I imagined they would be a bit more flavorful. They weren't bad but I think we could take the flavor up a notch. Overall- good experience and I would definitely go back! read more

I went hear for Mother's Day brunch. Majority of my group got chicken and waffles and shrimp and grits. The chicken wings were extremely small , the grits needed another 5 minutes and the steak and eggs was cold. It took too long to receive our food, so we were hungry so we all eat our food once we received it. Now I was the only one that tried something different, I had a fried pork chop grill onion and peppers over it , eggs, cheese grits and a croissant. The placed was packed when we walked in. So you know it's going to be good. The server greeted us and immediately offered us mimosas! The coffee was great. I ordered the grilled shrimp and grits and my husband ordered the fried chicken with red velvet waffles. The food was delicious and the service was incredible. Father's Day Breakfast, reservations for 4. We walked in at our reservation time we're greeted and seated right away. Our server was Angel and she was very pleasant and attentive, which is what you really want from a good server. Everything we ordered was cooked perfectly, very flavorful, quite enjoyable and made our morning great! The manager even checked on us to ensure we enjoyed our meal. Cute place that we have been meaning to try but left unimpressed. Wanted to like it. the waiter,who came across as the owner, was nice. We were the first ones there when they opened. Wish they had someone else helping her in the dining room even though it was early because the phone kept ringing while she was with another table that came in. Someone did come in to help about an hour later. Food was ok. Nothing special, especially for the price. It was myself husband and our two young kids under 10yo. With tip it was almost $120 for breakfast. We didn't even have any alcoholic drinks. My husband and I stopped here after an early morning flight and the food was amazing. I had the red velvet waffles and chicken wings with a side of scrambled eggs made with Gouda. My husband had the veggie omelette and added bacon with cheese grits and a pancake. The star of the show was the red velvet waffle and the chicken wings! The chicken was crispy, seasoned well and the waffle was perfectly done with the pecans for a beautiful touch. He also really enjoyed his omelette which was full and cooked really well. My mom ordered the red velvet waffle and friend chicken wings. The waffle had the perfect amount of sweetness that was paired with candied walnuts, sweet blueberries and a cream cheese topping. The waffle was not overly sweet and the flavor was great. The friend chicken wings were seasoned and fried perfectly. Sometimes restaurants don't take time to season their fried food but you can taste the seasoning on the fried chicken. I ordered the salmon and grits. Let me tell ya'll something!!! This has to be the best thing on the menu!!! The grits were seasoned so well and also had Gouda cheese, corn and a creole sauce that were to die for!! I scrapped by bowl clean!! The salmon croquettes were also amazing! The chef used real Alaskan salmon not that stuff from the can and it was structured more like a crab cake and was big enough to where you only need one. The salmon croquette and grits paired perfectly together. I actually ordered my croquette on the side and ended up putting it back in the grits like it was intended bc they paired so well together. No hot sauce was needed. We also tried the fried green tomatoes which came with a nice Thai chili sauce. The staff, owner and chef were so friendly and attentive. I will definitely be back!! First let me say I love the fact that they offer reservations. My son and I tried them for a Sunday brunch and we were not disappointed. I had the salmon croquettes with grits which were great. WAY OVER PRICED! Expensive basic food. You get better food at Waffle House honestly. For the price of each dish I expected a full plate of food to come out, but it was minimal. Service was ok but it took a long time to get our food. At check out they try to auto apply a 20% tip unless you manually change it so watch for that. I ordered scrambled eggs with cheese, potatoes, chicken sausage, and a pancake. The eggs were hard and cold. The potatoes were flavorless and chicken sausage was overcooked, very dry and tuff. My husband had the fish and grits. The fish had good flavor, fried in a flour like batter. I would have preferred corn meal but not bad. The grits were the best part of all food. They were delicious. I did not eat my food I help my husband eat the fish and grits. The waitress asked for feedback noticing I did not eat food. Not wanting to spoil others experience in the restaurant I kept my comments to myself. I hope this review is read and the food improves. I really want this business to be successful. Unable to make a fair review due to not being able to get my food. I placed my order at 12:40 on Sunday, however my food was never available for me. I ordered a chicken Caesar salad & a bacon egg and cheese croissant. I'm not sure if they needed to go to Publix next door to get ingredients or a local farm for fresh eggs. But I don't understand why it took them 40 minutes to only tell me my order was not started. I understand if it is a busy day, more than usual... however communication before the order is placed would be helpful & appreciated. Yes I checked on my order multiple times. I was once told 3 minutes, checked back in 15 minutes later, he explained to me that my order was not started due to a large party. If you know your business is short staff, please advise your customers of extended wait times. Do not try to ease a customer and say "it will be out in 3 minutes" only for 15 minutes to go by & the food has not been started. read more

So, my first visit in here food was good and fast, except their floor tables and chairs kind of dirty for me. 2nd is today I don't know what happened but we ordered the easiest food to cook and aint lot of people still it took them forever to give us our food, almost an hour for the dry croissaint 2 pancakes, that taste like a powder, 2 small sausages and 1 waffle oh plus the 2 eggs.how was these food took forever to cook? 1 small glass of orange juice and cranberry juice were $3.
