Scotty and I had a few calls back and forth to figure out the best day and time for me to bring my car in to get the windows done. I had him tint the two back windows along with the back windshield. Here are some tips: 1) Scotty works out of his garage, and with Covid, there's nowhere to sit/stay if you're waiting for your windows to be done. You've got to drop your car, so plan to have a ride to pick you up or walk around the neighborhood if your car is first in line. Don't think there's really too much to do around there but, I could be wrong. There IS a post office, however, within about a 15 minute walk... if that's your thing. 2) Cash 3) If your not sure of the shade of tint you're looking for, not to worry - Scotty has samples there to match exactly what it is you're looking for. 4) Scotty gives you a lifetime guarantee if anything goes wrong with the tint. 5) Good guy, solid business, quality work. read more

Ok "eek! Methinks NOT." The Story: I went there to get all windows tinted including front, this is my 4th vehicle i have owned. My other cars I brought to one other Spot, and never had an issue... but I had to pay like $400 for 3M tints... So i was like let me use yelp. I found Scotty, I called and gave my a very competitive price.. A little under $300. I went, got the tints done. One thing i thought was unusual is that he has no barrier to separate his work area from the other side of the garage, which is like a barber shop on some days. I waited 4 weeks to see the full effect, and the pictures will speak for themselves... I Know I paid a lower price but dust particles on every window is kinda annoying, especially if you are the type to always have your car nice and clean. I complained, and asked to please re-do them, Scotty was hesitant at first and told me its impossible to get tints without any dust particles, but as you see in the photo, there was a WHOLE AREA of particles concentrated in like one spot on each window.... He agreed to replace 3 of the windows, FINE ! then while driving I noticed again, more dust particles, this time one of them, in my scope of vision had a little black particle in it ! I complained again, he said he will remove them, and said that no one will ever satisfy my standards... To, Scotty, I am going to pay $400 to get my standards... Thank you for trying.... Next time if the customer is unhappy with your work, take your work back, don't curse at them, and don't assume things about your customers. To everyone, Basically you get what you pay for. His cost for service is very competitive, and a bargain. 1+ Quality Control is poor. -1 Professionalism, . -1 at the end, but at the 1st visit +1 Timing, time to get tints done, all windows plus front, about 3 hours. Pictures will be posted. Overall good price, but the catch is lower quality, and possibly a lot of wasting of your time, if not satisfied. Not a 0 star because prices are good Not a 5 star or a 4 star, cause of the quality and my experience with exchanged dialogue. at best a 3 or a 2 star, But for me, A 1 star experience, for not removing the tints which are dotted with particles. partial refund was provided less than 50% of the cost of service. read more

I was deceived by the actions at Scotty's shop. I came in to get my windshield tinted. I was told due to one mark on my windshield from my wipers, it was recommended that I get the mark removed first before tinting. However, I was told after further inspection that they could remove the mark. I firmly told Scotty and his partner I didn't want tints if the mark would still be visible but his partner insisted he could get the mark off. I allowed them to work on my vehicle, after scrubbing off the mark they LEFT SEVERAL SCRATCHES on my windshield. After letting the tints heal; I came to Scotty's to discuss the damages that was done. However, I was given the runaround and they insisted the scratches were from my wipers but now I have scratches all over my windshield going in different directions. read more

Had the tints done last week and was basically waiting for them to be fully cured to write my review. Don't let the fact that he works out of his garage fool you. this guy has been in business for a very long time and his work is proof of it. From the time I spoke to him on the phone until the job was done Scott was a true professional. The job didn't take long he takes extremely good care of your car. When I arrived he pulled my car right in and showed me the different shades of tint I went with 20 on the rear window and 35 on the side windows because I have black interior. After the job was done he gave me the lifetime warranty card for the install. I will also be bringing my wife's car in for a tint. I spent some time in there because I was getting to know him and his other worker Warren. These guys are great and if you bring your car here you will not be disappointed.
