Today I specifically went back to the mall after seeing a movie, to try on dresses I saw in the window of Express. It was definitely a successful trip, I came out with the 2 I loved from the window and one more. During my shopping trip today I also got a Boba from Boba Tea Company and some food from the food court. The employees at each store I visited were friendly and helpful overall which made the experience nice. This is definitely the nicest mall in the valley and has a very high end feel, I mean it is in Scottsdale of course ;).

I also sometimes meet up with friends or family or even head there on my own. There's something for everyone and plenty to see and do; however, some of my favorite stores and restaurants have closed and been replaced over the years. It also happens to be where my wife and I had our first date! The Biltmore Fashion Park is known for some great restaurants. While there are some upscale and casual restaurants there, my favorites include Seasons 52 or True Food for a good meal and Frost a Gelato Shoppe for dessert. I really enjoy having several Fox restaurants at the Biltmore. There are also many other restaurants in the area. Several of the restaurants have great happy hours, too. I miss the Crepe Club though several other restaurants have opened since then. There are also plenty of shops from upscale shops to more casual ones like Lululemon and Sakes 5th Avenue. There are fancy clothing stores that my wife may enjoy though I typically enjoy the nice courtyard or seating outside some of the stores while she shops. Then, we grab a bite somewhere together. I miss the Apple Store and Sharper Image but look forward to what is opened next. There are also experiences from the Sip & Stroll (where you can enjoy a beverage from one of six restaurants and then walk around), meet-up with the Phoenix Run Club, the Art Walk, the Swiftie Liftie Outdoor Workout Class, or one of a number of galas or special events. Eventually ten cop cruisers came and cops were everywhere looking for the guy. In that hour there wasn't a single security person who showed up to investigate why the property was swarming with cops. I then called the Town & Country owners and left a message asking to be called back, explaining I was robbed in their garage, there was no security ever, and they should know what happened. No returned call. So I left another message two days later. No response. This is an "upscale" mall and I'm sure tenants pay through the nose, but the owners don't give a shit about the security or the safety of their tenant's customers. If I were a tenant I'd want some answers.

I've heard management has changed and that has been the cause for the price gauging. Honestly I blame influencers for showing off their finds and management for then taking advantage of people also looking for the same deals. But I'm over influencers and brands caring more about influencers than the people who have kept them in business for years, instead we pay more for an item than it's being sold for in the original store. It's a shame greed takes over and people lack integrity. I hope one day things can be adjusted and it makes sense to shop here again. Maybe with another change in management?
