I text the detailer at 5pm on Thursday asking his eta because he never contacted me. He said his detail is over and he has to reschedule because the sun is setting. If you can't get the job done for one reason or another - please give me an early heads up so I can book somebody else - not let me know at the time of appointment you can't come.

I set up an appointment through this app and checked in the night before to confirm my appointment. He estimated that the process would take 3-4 hours, and he actually spent 5 hours which I didn't expect but was pleased with due to the great results. Cody came to my house in the early morning on a hot summer day with all of his supplies, including towels, hose connector, wax machine, cleaning materials, and more, which was very convenient. He first washed my car in the driveway and let the foam sink in. He then had me move it into the garage where he could dry the car, wax and detail the interior. Cody was thorough in his work and clearly took pride in what he does, which he does well. I pointed out a few problem areas and he was able to address them accordingly. He went over what he did to ensure my car stay in pristine condition, including applying sealant, steam cleaning, and protective coating. I can already see a difference, especially the interior. Thank you to Cody for the excellent detailing job and time spent making my 5-year old car shine like it was new. I recommend his services to anyone looking to spruce up their car!

Most recently, we decided to purchase a Honda Accord which was our first new car in over 7 years. Having declined the dealership push for special coatings and treatments, I drove directly over to Tony who gave me a fair price on tint, a clear mask, and a ceramic coating. Tony took his time and explained the options, including being honest about where he would and wouldn't recommend spending some extra cash. In the end, we did the mid-level ceramic coating, 24" clear mask, and ceramic tint on our 2019 Accord Hybrid. Just to be sure I was getting a fair deal, I even priced another detailer in FoCo but couldn't pin them down on a number. In an email, they said one price but when I showed up, somehow the price doubled due to "prep work" that would be required. Prep work? The car is brand new! Toney was clear on pricing from the beginning and has never tried to pull a bait and switch. He communicates quickly and clearly via email and text and is realistic about scheduling and price/value for his services. We will be bringing any and all of our current and future cars to OCD for their TLC.

There is no place to really hang out here while you wait, as the closest place would be Cheba Hut or King Soopers, so I had to shlep my wife and three kids somewhere while the work was being done. Bust still not a huge deal. The quality of the cleaning was pretty great, especially compared to Casey's which always does a super mediocre job. For $39.95 not a bad deal if you are willing to find a place to hang out for a while, though it doesn't include an exterior wash. If you want to get an exterior wash, you'll need to use the manual wash there or go elsewhere. I'd give it 3.5 stars, but Josh was really nice so we'll bump it to 4.

I am not looking for a refund or anything like that, I am just sharing my experience. After getting an appointment set in advance for 10 am, I was given an estimate of 3-4 hours. I ended up finally getting the car at 6 pm. 45 minutes prior to this, an employee, who I was told was "in training" pulled the car up front for a final inspection. The senior employee immediately realized the car needed extra work and set about doing it. I was given explanations that they were overbooked and that a person in training had handled the majority of the detail. The problem was, the "details" were not handled. Even after pointing out several issues and having them corrected, more problems were clear. After 8 hours, I just wanted to leave. I was offered a 5% discount and given a few apologies, which were appreciated. My main concern is that they allowed an employee in training to handle a detail with minimal oversight due to being overbooked. I will include photos of the issues and let those reading decide if the work is up to the standards that a $170 detail should require. Sadly, I do not believe I will be able to give additional business to Kool Rides despite the kind people who run the place. I will pay the premium and go to Manhattan Auto Spa.

The actual detail was quick and easy for me, we emptied the car of my belongings and I was able to just work from home while the detail was happening. My only issue is the interior windows were cleaned, but left a streaky residue in some areas. Doorsills were still filthy, third row was completely untouched, floor mat clips caked with dirt. - Wheels were rinsed off but were still covered in brake dust/grime - Exterior paint was washed but not wiped/dried properly, and clearly was not waxed. Lots of remaining bug residue and hazy, steaky cleaning product left on the paint. Definitely was not waxed even though that was included in the "mighty detail" package I purchased. Overall, the car would've gotten cleaner being run through a $12 touchless wash. I was also charged an undisclosed $35 pet hair removal fee, even though there was no dog hair in the car. I called to express my disappointment and the representative was completely unapologetic. They offered to send the same detailer out to give it another shot, which I declined. Why would I want the same person working on my car who did a poor job the first time? The representative then told me this specific detailer has had other complaints. Why would I want that person touching my car again then? I was the told it would be at least a month before any other detailer was available, so no recourse other than to have the same incompetent person come back out. I was offered a partial refund, which is probably fair, but I'm still left with a disappointing experience and a car that was not detailed properly. I will be looking elsewhere for a more professional detail in the future.
