Stopped in today for filet mignon & some burgers. Was greeted by Scott, his son Matt, & Bill. Noticed a review mentioning chicken burgers w/ feta & spinach so I had to pick up two of those as well. I was treated like a regular & thoroughly enjoyed the conversation & recommendations. They offer a lot of different products & I noticed a couple of small & localish brands. I found my favorite Marty's seeded buns & grabbed a seasoning from a Brooklyn brand I had never seen before. Got some frozen baked clams too. The filets were cut fresh & were the perfect thickness. They came out amazing. The burgers & chicken burgers were great as well. Looking forward to visiting again next time I am in the area. Would travel out of my way if I were hosting a gathering or looking to impress. I found the prices to be reasonable, supported by the great quality of everything I grabbed. Parking was plenty & located out front. For COVID 19 store is limited to 4 customers at a time. Pretty sure a mask was required too. read more

We've been ordering our Christmas Chateaubriand from Scott's I believe for three years now. Excellent cut of meat and excellently prepared. Scott gave us expert, perfect instructions for cooking. The Chateaubriand came out perfectly cooked and was delicious. Very easy to cook at home. A little pricey. But if not for Christmas then when?? read more

Got a 5.5 lb. leg of lamb the day before Easter that was all agreed at the table the best lamb ever - a 5 star "Not Baaaaad rating." It was so fresh one might have thought is was a roast beef. Perfectly trimmed with a sprig of Rosemary tucked in the twine. So convenient to get the fixings at the vegetable fruit store next door, and wine a few doors away. read more

Great service from Scott, went for some London broil to make beef jerky and he even offered a good seasoning which they use to use on their beef jerky when they made it. Saw the burgers so I had to try them for lunch. They were delicious. Seemed like most of the customers were regulars and they knew their names. Will repeat. read more

Got some burgers stuffed with bacon and cheddar and chicken burgers with feta and spinach that were both really good. Also got some steak kababs that were pretty good. Prob woulda got some more things but the guy behind the counter seemed very annoyed when I would ask a question about any of the items. Not sure if he was having a bad day or just expects everyone to know as much as he does about meat. Oh well. read more

Burger meat is pretty good however this last visit was horrible. I had their "fresh" chicken cutlets. As soon as I took a bite into the cutlet it tasted like it had some major freezer burn and I spit it right out and threw that garbage away. I have never tasted such horrible chicken cutlets.. Simple way to make them... First start off by making them fresh. By far the worst chicken cutlet I have ever had.... Will never return. read more

Lived in Commack for 40 years - Scott's is the BEST! They happily grind my meatloaf mix together (2 pounds veal, 2 pounds pork, 6 pounds of sirloin), make the BEST chicken Feta burgers that folks beg me to bring to their BBQ's and are genuinely happy to work with their customers. I always order their filet mignons as they are amazing! They call you Mr. or Mrs. as a form of old world class and respect. Stop searching and call them! read more

Just have to say that I am truly disappointed in this shop first time I ever brought already made chicken cutlets and they were horrible!!
