Buyer Beware! Hired this company in January of this year and dealt directly with the owner, John…read moreMcCormack. This organization is blatantly dishonest, I have multiple communications with the office contradicting timelines owner promised ie tile was ordered vs not ordered. They did the work weeks later than promised, and served up daily excuses. I would have never shared public commentary, however, if the work quality was not an issue. They installed tile floors and laminate in my home, and the worksmanship is as bad as it gets! Loose tiles, cracked grout, lippage between tiles, completely un-level floor installation. Their own subcontractor lifted up areas of the installation after the fact and showed me that it was not his tile work, but all the subfloor prep that the company had done. I notified the owner of the defects, and he has gone completely radio silent. I am in the process of litigation with this company, and when consulting with my local construction attorney I was informed that this company has had previous issues with installations they perform. The attorney I am working with has had multiple customers that he has represented against this company, typically ending in a settlement and non-disclosure. They typically either try to offer the client compensation to keep them quiet, or they settle when a client pushes things forward through legal challenges. I wish someone had written some feedback when I was making my decision to avoid the headache I found myself in. The entire tile floor needs to be ripped out and redone completely, as none of the work is salvageable. There are plenty of decent flooring companies out there, do yourself a favor and save the headaches. Don't let their reviews fool you! I've attached some videos I took for the subcontractor they hired to do the work, showing some of the issues.

After first contacting him figured I would also pick up a couple of ceiling fans and a few light fixtures. We agreed to a price and made and appointment. He kept in contact to get updates on my deliveries. I also discussed replacing my kitchen sink. Darrell first impressed me was as soon as he walked in he dropped down a towel and wrapped his feet. Everywhere he worked he made sure the surrounding areas were protected. He took a look at my sink and told me what it would take to install a new one. Instead of taking me into a lengthy project he explains it would work but be costly and asked was it worth the minimal benefit I would get out of it. When he finished I all had him hang to wall hangings in the stairway to the second floor, Did a great job on that also. He hauled everything away, my place was spotless when he left. The week previously I had new floors installed on the first floor and tile in the upstairs bathrooms. One of the toilets wasn't set right and leaked onto the bathroom floor. The installer sent back another crew and re-seated the toilet. A few days letter a started seeing a water streak develop on the ceiling. At that points I had no confidence in the flooring company and called The Helping Handyman. He fixed the problem and let me know what the problem was. I also had him re-seat the toiled in the other bathroom. He did a great job in very little time. The flooring company agreed to pay for fixing the ceiling. As the group I contracted to fix the ceiling took down all the fixtures they commented on how excellent the installation was on the ones The Helping Handyman and asked for Darrell's number. The Helping Handyman is top shelf and I would highly recommend him.

Our initial sales person was fabulous, but left this company abruptly in the middle of our sale. Ordered product with Susan, she was more concerned with collecting my money than ordering everything that we asked for, so didn't get everything we needed to install, when we received the delivery. Had to run around looking for replacement items before the install. Which put us a day behind schedule. After installing floors, we were left with eight boxes of flooring($600) in which we called to return and found out that they don't take it back because all sales are final with "special orders". Was told by Albert that they would try to see if the manufacturer would take it back, so we waited to hear back for a week. Surprise, no calls back, had to keep calling and when I finally did get an answer, it was from Susan, who was very rude and told me it wasn't worth it for them to return it and I should go sell it on marketplace or donate it. They did the ordering and measured off of my blueprint, but now according to Susan, my blueprint is not something that they can truly go off of. We were also told that we should've have had them come out and measure, but at that time of discussion that was never offered to us. Don't play games, go somewhere else for your flooring and tile, as they do not care about the customer after the sale. All they care about is the money. Oh, and then when we mentioned the FTC and the Better Business Bureau, Susan told me to go right ahead and hung up! Bad business and bad customer service!
