Two kick ass balloons (one a giant silver foil number 2...as in the number, not the bodily function... not that you'd be expecting that, but just in case....oooh, i'm in a big hole) filled with floaty gas for aout 15 notes... pricey but cool. From the moment you walk in the door, your eyes will be assaulted by the garish surroundings, you can't help but laugh. This is indeed a strange, hidden, Alice in Wonderland type place, located in a trading estate not a kick in the bottom away from the Grand Ole Opry. It's a bar-tending school.... I know! But it offers a great private venue, with excellent working bar, workable space (the walls were covered in work from the Papergirl art project), and friendly staff. It's a nice place and, I imagine, one that can be altered to suit whatever function/group it happens to be hosting. So what is it? Well, I suppose it has to go down as an event space or venue. But as these spaces go, it's really quite a cool, intimate and would certainly get you 'wow... cool' points from your friends/work colleagues, upon discovering it. Check it out.
