My company recently hosted a fair few events here, and I have to say I am really impressed. The booking process was easy, and I had good email contact from them. They were clearly all over everything, from checking our catering requirements to set up, to delegate numbers and arrival times. When I mentioned in passing that we would have posters to put up, they advised that the couldn't put them on the walls, but could arrange as many flipchart stands as needed so we could put them up, which I was impressed with.
Before the event they checked everything thoroughly, so I was confident we were set to have a successful day. I arrived in the morning an hour before our event, and a lovely man called Shaun took me to the room and took me through the housekeeping, as well as doing a talk through of how to work the AC, lights, projector etc. The room was lovely, big, bright and modern, with a great projector and speakers, as well as cabaret seating for 40 as agreed. The teas and coffees provided were good, with a wide range of teas - as well as bonus biscuits, always a joy! The presenters were very pleased with the space and the set up, and the delegates enjoyed their workshops too (especially as we don't get teas and coffees when doing events on-site!) Their prices are incredibly reasonable and much cheaper than other venues we have used, and as the location is so central for transport links, it should suit everyone no matter where they are coming from.
