Recently, we needed to call him to help with an emergency, but I was nervous about having someone in the house during quarantine as I have family members who are high risk for COVID. Max came in the back door to the basement wearing a mask, completed the work as quickly as he could and he cleaned every surface that he came in contact with before he left - again - though the basement door to prevent any contact with my family. He not only assisted us during the emergency, he made sure that my family was safe. He always arrives on time, always completes work within the scheduled timeframe, and always cleans up when he's finished. If you are looking for an A+ plumber, call this guy.

Awesome/friendly guy showed up at 9pm in a great mood and was very easy to work with. He looked over all the pipes and drains and knew right away it would be just an easy fix by sending a snake down to unclog the drain. All said and done he was there about an hour and was able to get our drain clear. Safe to say these guys saved our wknd. Timeline of events... I opened Yelp, searched "drain" called this company and within 2hrs the problem was resolved!!

So when our washer standpipe started overflowing yet again, I called them out. This was the last time I will ever call them. They did send someone out (I didn't catch his name, he didn't introduce himself), but the 20 minute heads-up call that someone was on their way came as he was literally ringing our doorbell, I showed him down to the area where our main drain is located, he repeatedly asked about our bulkhead doors. Our bulk head is in ill-repair, so we don't use it, and don't really want to be liable for anyone else using it, so I said it was not accessible (he asked 3 more times after that). He asked when our last date of service was, I couldn't remember, it has been over 2 years, so he said he had to "ask his girl", so he trucks outside cell phone in his pocket to do so. I already had a bad feeling from all of the negativity being spewed at me, direct quote: "You guys are killing me." 5 minutes later he rings the door and states that due to a reoccurring knee injury, he can not perform the job, and he is apparently the only tech that works for the company, because he offered no other tech that would be available tomorrow, next day, etc, he did give me 2 names of "buddies" of his that may be able to do the job... Hmmm, to trust his recommendation... ?!? Apparently, they are not to worried about keeping repeat business.

The workers for this company are clearly unstable, and should be avoided at all costs.

I just wanted to get an idea on the estimate of the service and she said it's Saturday night and not going to sit here to explain the details for you. Dave arrived right on time and worked very diligiently; so professional and so polite. His boss, Rich, made a delivery for the extra parts he needed and his co-worker, Rob, arrived at about 4pm on a Friday to help him finish the job so I wouldn't have to wait. Excellent quality - beyond expectation. Dave also (thankfully) recommended some other work that would be needed soon so I'll definitely call again. I'll tell everyone I know to contact Executive Plumbing. Very fair prices combined with a strong work ethic. BTW - I called Executive Plumbing based on positive yelp reviews - after I'd waited for 2 weeks for my 'regular' plumber to call me back. He's not my 'regular' plumber anymore.

Rich methodically checked everything that could be causing the problem. He also patiently explained what he was looking for with each diagnostic. It turned out to be the wiring from the thermostat to the heater. Another company had ruled out a thermostat problem. Rich fixed the issue quickly. Other positives...Rich ALWAYS returned my calls! He was heavily scheduled and since my issue wasn't an emergency in the warmer weather, we agreed he would come by as soon as he had a break in the schedule. Another job couldn't be done in the rain so Rich called and said he could come by within an hour. After the problem was fixed, Rich called the next day to follow up and make sure everything was still working as expected. Amazing customer service!

Update: I am now a homeowner and nine months in, I had a sewer pipe episode three days before my…read morefamily was about to descend upon my house for our first Thanksgiving in the new crib. That was looking iffy at best (as was my prospects for a shower lasting longer than two minutes). Nasty, smelly water was coming up from under our downstairs toilet. Greg came right over to see if he could determine the issue. He also came again the next day when he had more time to try to fix it (and a bigger snake). Unfortunately, the snake was coming up shiny -- I learned this was a sign of pipe breakage (snake travels through gravel, gravel scrapes off the grime). Greg will explain what he's up to every step of the way and what you're up against. In this case, he had to go under the house to the scary little crawl space with a small shovel to see if he could get to the breakage. When he determined the broken pipe segment was too deep to be accessed by one person, he put down the shovel and picked up his phone. It was at this point I learned how well-networked he is. The first specialist he called came right over with a high-tech camera. It was inconclusive to determine the location of the break, but did confirm there was one. Next up was a call to the "digging plumbers" who came the next day with little shovels, found the breakage and fixed it in under five hours. My experience with all the specialists he called in was great, the issue got fixed and Thanksgiving was saved. Even though he spent two afternoons at my house, he didn't charge me anything close to his normal rate on the premise that he couldn't fix it himself (it was the first time I ever argued with someone to charge me more). He called to follow up a few days later to make sure everything was A-OK (a sign of total class in my book). Now, if you are new to this owning a home thing like me, you may be thinking, if he couldn't fix it himself, why the glowing review? It's a bit like a medical practice. Your primary care physician calls in specialists, why shouldn't your plumber? Greg seems to get the notion that you are the company you keep and those good relationships helped save our holiday. I am hugely grateful. Since my experience with homeownership is that sh** happens (this time, literally), it's good to have someone you trust on speed dial. He's great in an emergency, and no matter how miserable you're feeling in the moment, he will make you laugh.
