While in the hospital, Dr Smith made frequent visits, even doing the wound care himself for several days. He's meticulous and pays great attention to detail! If you want to be babied he may not be for you, as he tells things like they are but if you want to get better, he needs to be your first phone call!!! We "toe"tally recommend!!!

My husband and I both asked on at least three occasions whether our insurance would cover these items and were told yes every time. Multiple times. We asked them to check with the insurance company and they advised us they did and that we were covered. We purchased the items only because he told us, at least three times, that these items were covered by our insurance. After two years and six months, we received notice that this debt, which he assured us was covered, had been transferred to collections. I dispute this debt and have contacted them both publicly and online and I received no answer from anyone is his office to correct the issue. I also tried to contact them through their Facebook presence and I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I have performed due diligence to contact the provider and have had no success.

Our son had surgery on both feet by a very capable Norman physician. One surgery came out fine but…read morethe more complex problem was not completely resolved. The Norman doc referred is to Dr Smith in Edmond. Dr. Smith measured, calculated and planned the surgery and was able to communicate his plan to our son and us. We were very nervous as our son had his heart set on going in the Marine Corp. if this didn't work out, the Marines would not accept him. Fortunately for our son, the procedure went well and he had very little problems getting in and completing incredibly demanding basic training. As it was, I couldn't even get past the receptionist. I chose this doctor- 40 minutes from my home- because of the good reviews. However, a doctor's quality is also reflected in their staff. The office person did notify me two days before to come in early because I had not filled out my paperwork online. Well, the day before my appointment I did print it out and fill it in- in case there were any unforeseen traffic events I would be prepared upon arrival. I was relieved when I arrived at 3:31 (yes, there was horrendous traffic on the way). I was only one minute late! I handed my paperwork to the receptionist, who was already unhappy. She monotoned, "you were supposed to be here by 3:15". Yes, I responded, but that was because I hadn't filled out my paperwork- so here it is filled out. At this point another person inserted herself and said, "You were late, we will have to reschedule you." Seriously? I looked at my watch- it was 3:32pm by this point. "Seriously?" I said outloud. Seriously. I had slammed into a wall and they were unbudging. I was simply stunned. There were no other patients that I could see. I didn't know how to respond. I couldn't comprehend the lack of kindness or empathy that I had just navigated through 40 minutes of driving to arrive there...let alone the constant pain in my feet. I didn't know what to do- so I just walked out. I will find another doctor closer to home.
