Whoever is doing their billing fails to communicate. We had several conversations about billing to…read morefind out they had overbilled us and we now had a credit with them. I'd prefer they do their job rather than crediting us months after the service. We received a letter explaining it months after the fact. So how are we to know that you are charging correctly?! Their staff is not there to provide a service. I became a patient with them and explained how sensitive my teeth were. We, myself and Dr. Hannah Dickson, agreed on how to proceed with the cleaning. I needed a new nightguard and she instructed me it would be $200 for a hard night guard, not the soft one that I had. I wanted a replacement, soft like I had and was pretty much told they don't like doing that. It was hard or nothing. I agreed to the hard one, received it, and they fitted it. It was so hard that it suctioned to my teeth. It was uncomfortable and risked a cap that I have on my teeth. So I stopped using it. In 6 months, I went back for my next cleaning. I again requested the same process used in my prior cleaning. I was told that we didn't the process to treat for my sensitive teeth. Thankfully I was insistent and they reviewed my records to see I was correct before proceeding. We once again discussed the night guard and I insisted on a soft one. I was told it would be another $200 for the mold. I was not treated as if I had any part in my treatment plan or really as if my opinion on treatment mattered. I have spoken to their office manager several times, each time looking for clarity and each time met with rudeness and the attitude that she is doing me a favor. My advice is to find a different dentist, different office.

would NOT recommend! He installed both of my implants. The…read morefirst I had to go back in because it was loose, the second was too big for the space he put it into and I had to see another dentist to get help. He had placed a tooth that was too big onto the abutment causing severe pain by causing all my bottom teeth to shift like an orthodontic adjustment done too fast. In addition to that I had asked him prior to the implant if it was safe to have an implant at all due to having osteoporosis. he told me it was safe. After the procedure he told me we shouldn't have done the implant because my jawbone was too porous. I reminded him that he told me it was safe after I had told him I had osteoporosis and he said "oh" and looked at the floor. Also, when the second implant was done he left his assistant alone in the room to install the abutment part of the implant and was using an improper wrench causing the tool to slip repeatedly over the head of the metal parts. When he entered the room he told her the wrench she was using was too big. After looking up TX state laws I learned that dental assistants are not permitted to install parts of implants unattended by the dentist.

The tech that took me back took pictures of my teeth. She explained every step, gave me a tour, and made my first visit fee very in depth. I waited for a few minutes and I was greeted by Nicole. She is the coordinater that helps you with the financial aspect of your treatment. I was immediately greeted with a warm handshake from the doctor. His consultation was so in depth and not rushed at all. He answered every question I had, even the silly ones. I thought that traditional braces was going to be my only answer but he assured me that I can have the same treatment in the same amount of time with Invisalign for the same cost (they have a promotion right now). I'm 31 years old, sign me up for clear retainer braces! I never realized that it's so much more than just having straight teeth. He explained to me about my bite, the shape of my teeth, side effects that I have now that I didn't even know was because of my current structure. He went into detail how and why my teeth will shift and what to expect. For a free consultation this was so in depth and really blew me away. Nicole made it easy for payments. It's pretty up front. You make a down payment. The more you put down, the lower your payments. It's not rocket science like some of the previous reviews I read. It's very easy to see how many months it will take to pay off the amount. If you choose to pay it off early that's fine. She was willing to work with me if I needed help with payments but everything was fine. It's like having a bill due every month that's auto drafted and you pick the date. She was very nice and explained everything in details. Last step was getting my teeth scanned for the Invisalign to get my trays. Super easy. Fast. The tech even removed my old retainer on my bottom teeth that was permanent. She made sure I was in no pain since the water is cold. I simply had to raise my hand and she would stop and hold my tooth from the ache of the cold. That's an extra step that no hygentist has ever done. She told me that my trays will arrive in 4-6 weeks. I look forward to future visits here and a straight healthy smile. P.S. They have free drinks and ice cream in the waiting area which is so cool!

So I have had quite a bit of dental work here. 4 implants total. I have never experienced…read morerudeness here, in fact they have been very helpful and pleasant. There have been a few hiccups which they have resolved when I spoke with them. I have a really big fear of dental work. When I first started with treatment I had 2 failed crowns that had to have pulled, one of my back teeth was very difficult to get out I think because the root was too long or something. However the attempt to pull that tooth out was very painful and could not seem to be numbed as well as the other side. They finally called in someone to help and it worked, but it was very painful and added to my anxiety. After those implants were complete I had a front tooth break and needed both front teeth replaced. The financial person, Jollee was very helpful I had seen her at my first visit and she worked with my insurance and me to understand everything financially. When moving to my next procedures Jollee had moved "across" the street to their surgical center, so I had spoken with someone else and that experience was not as clear cut as Jollee, when I had my front tooth experience Jollee was back thank goodness and helped me understand my previous quotes and everything financially up to date. She is pleasant, kind and helpful. I also spoke with her about some of my previous experience with anxiety and why and she offered nitrous oxide and it was extremely helpful. It would be helpful to have an after visit summary as most of the time my anxiety is so high I have very little comprehension after the surgeries. My partner was always there thank goodness and they were able to give her my care plan. Dr. Pham was my initial dentist and now is Dr. Das, all the dentist/ surgeons have been helpful and kind. The environment is very clean and pleasant. I do recommend Clear Lake Dental. A lot of concerns can be alleviated by asking questions until everyone is clear on the expected outcome. If they offer a dental plan outside of your budget say no, and see if there is a less expensive plan. I did not give a 5 star because right now I have been waiting over a week for confirmation about a balance due. I don't want to get a text about a balance due without reviewing a statement. So hopefully they will send via email as I have asked via text and email.

I've been coming to see Dr. Rodriguez and his team for years now, despite living very far away. The…read morefirst visit was an emergency visit as I bit down too hard during the night and chipped off a part of my back teeth! He quickly scheduled a visit for that day and took a look at it. He diagnosed the problem and filled in the gap it left quickly. It felt weird for awhile, but I'm used to it now. I also go see the hygienist 3-4 times a year now to get my teeth specially cleaned and treated since I do have trouble with my gums and teeth and the extra cleanings help mitigate the damage from genetics and also not going to the dentist for years prior (cause they are way scarier than doctors and anything else, right?!). Now that I go more often, the fear has lessened and my teeth and gums are way healthier - which also makes them hurt less when I go in for my next visit. Funny how that cycle works. The office is super nice and clean. The staff are friendly. They have text and phone call reminders for your upcoming visits. I knew nothing about my insurance or my husband's at all and they were able to look it up for us and let us know what services we qualify for and financial alternatives if we needed. There is a semi-private parking lot so you can almost always find a decent parking place. It's close to Bay Brook mall so you can get some shopping in before or after a visit if you've taken a half day from work or left a little early and don't want to pick up your kids right away. Also close to lots of food and other shopping strip malls if Bay Brook isn't your jam. My dentist works an hour away from where I live but it's worth the drive once you find someone you gel with and are comfortable seeing. And most dentist visits are only twice a year so the drive is worth it, especially in Houston, where anywhere worth going is a drive anyways. I definitely recommend Premier Dental!
