Previous adjustments had been provided at no charge. When I scheduled this appointment, I was initially told there would be a fee, but it was ultimately waived, which I appreciated. At the beginning of the appointment, I explained that I was experiencing multiple issues with my retainers. The doctor adjusted the bottom retainer and put it back in, but then immediately raised my chair, even as I was pointing to my top retainer and trying to explain that it was also causing pain. Rather than asking me about the issue, she called an assistant over and asked her to help me. The assistant did not seem to understand what I needed. When the doctor returned, she began the conversation by asking, "Okay, everything good now? Are you happy?" This felt really dismissive because I was clearly still trying to explain that there was an unresolved issue and that wearing the top retainer was painful. I felt as though I was being rushed out rather than listened to. When I explained the problem, the doctor suggested that I see a dentist, even though the pain occurs specifically when I wear the retainer. I understand that the office was busy and I did not mind waiting. However, the expectation of the appointment was to have all of my issues addressed in one visit so I would not need to come back. I still left in pain. I also did not feel comfortable continuing to ask questions or bring up the other issues I was experiencing with the retainer, because it felt like there was a lack of willingness to help and more of a push to move the appointment along. It became an increasingly uncomfortable experience. I ultimately left feeling like I had not been fully heard or able to address everything I came in for. I would have appreciated a few additional minutes of clear communication, patience, and an effort to fully understand and resolve the issues before ending the appointment or referring me elsewhere.

Dr. O is a huge sports fan which I love but just a nice guy in general. He is patient and gentle with my daughter and I appreciate that. I was told it would take 12-15 months. Twelve months later, my bite was repaired and I was able to have the cosmetic work done. My teeth look fantastic and my smile is restored to the one I had in my 20s. The process unfolded exactly how this team described it. They are ready and early for every appointment. While Dr. Lee is a pleasant and seemingly well-intentioned person, my experience has raised serious concerns about his attention to detail and overall competence. Early on, I had to proactively follow up for basic information (for instance, I was never informed about the use of chewies). Within the first week, I noticed that a tooth wasn't tracking properly. I raised the issue, but it was dismissed. Months later, it was finally acknowledged and corrected with an attachment--something that could have been addressed much earlier. I'm now 11 months into a relatively straightforward case that should have taken 6 to 9 months. Despite reluctantly agreeing to IPR to prevent a black triangle, I now have one anyway. Dr. Lee's only solution? Shave down more of my teeth. The most troubling moment came today, when he removed my attachments and--without informing or getting consent from me--shaved several teeth that never even had attachments. One of those teeth now has a rough surface and feels noticeably different. When I raised the issue, he claimed the tooth was always like that--something I know isn't true. If you're considering Invisalign with Dr. Lee, I urge you to explore other options--especially if you're paying a premium. I truly regret choosing this practice and would be happy to share alternative provider recommendations with anyone who's interested. I specifically liked that there was a handicap accessible bathroom in addition to a male and female restroom. I enjoyed meeting another tradesman in my trade of programming while in the lobby. Overall, not only is Dr. I is among the nicest dentists I've ever met--the kindness carries over to his staff who helped hand me the key while assisting a elder patient needing to access the restroom. I just got my braces off today (third time the charm = guilty) and I felt it was the right time to finally create a review. There is so much to unpack as I have experienced being around the Clement St. location both when I was a little girl and now as a young adult. I first started Ortho work here when I was in 3rd grade. I started with an expander then a few braces on both my top and bottom teeth. As a little girl at the time, I remember the staff were so sweet, kind, patient and gentle with me. Years later, the staff both in the back and front of the office are still very much the same (in a great way!). The Clement St. team has maintained such a kind and professional work ethic, it is always a pleasure to see them whenever I have an appointment. Fast forward to middle school, it was time for me to wear another set of braces again. I had a major underbite, therefore I was very much due for braces. I took off my braces Sophomore year of high school. My teeth were beautiful thanks to the Clement St. location. Straight, closed gaps, perfect beautiful bite......... Fast forward again to Senior year of high school.... I did not wear my retainers. Unfortunately my teeth shifted and shifted way more throughout college. I started the process of braces again on August 23rd, 2019. I really appreciated how Dr. Young and Dr. Ubaldo was still kind and patient with me about getting braces AGAIN! I honestly felt ashamed and embarrassed about not wearing my retainers, however I most definitely learned my lesson.
