Scott was amazing at capturing candid shots of my surprise proposal. The photo style is perfect as well. Was also very quick to respond via email and text. Can't recommend him enough for your photography needs. read more

Scott was amazing to work with. He communicated with me extremely well. He showed up on time. He took the time to walk the property to figure out the best locations for the time of day we did the pictures. He worked with eight adults and four somewhat cooperative children with ease. I would, without question use Scott again. read more

I cannot say enough good things about Scott Langley - from setting up the appointment and being extremely accommodating with our schedule, to the session that he made very relaxed and enjoyable, to sending the photos within less than two weeks, to the superb quality of the photos, everything was just wonderful. He is also a terrific human being, which makes working with him all the more pleasant. I would recommend Scott again and again! I live in the Washington, D.C. area and have now had Scott do our family portraits twice when he is in town doing other work. Will definitely be using him again. He sent digital images of every photo he took (included in his fee) - we used the photos for holiday cards and graduation announcements. read more

We hired Scott to takes some group and casual photos of a family gathering of four generations post-COVID. He was attentive, relaxed and helpful in organizing, but not pushy. Very personable and put everyone at ease. Scott is a pleasure to work with and we are so grateful to have had him with us to capture the warmth and love of our family with photographs. Thank you, Scott! read more

Scott was wonderful to work with! We did an engagement shoot with him which was a great way to get to know him, then he did the wedding day a week later. He's incredibly nice and easygoing, very professional, and the photos looked awesome. His background is in photojournalism, and we liked that he was able to capture a few more "typical" formal shots while also really capturing the spirit of the day. HIGHLY recommend! read more

I can't say enough nice things about working with Scott. Easy going, but organized, it was smooth sailing from the start. He was responsive leading up, he was punctual and a total pro. We enjoyed the entire process, he took charge and made suggestions as needed and hung back and captured the night when not. We (and all of our guests) are thrilled with the pictures. I can't wait to order our album. In the meantime he had sent us 'sneak peak' pics right after the wedding and within 2-3 weeks we had our thumb drive. And he's a really nice guy on top of it all! read more

A friend of the family who saw our wedding pictures remarked that they were the best he'd seen in 60 years. Scott captured all of the moments and emotions of the best day of my life (so far), in an anxiety-free and easy-going and professional manner -- and he wasn't even close to the most expensive part of the wedding. On the day of, I never felt like Scott was intruding or in the way, the way I've seen or heard other photographers are. I also really liked how quickly and painless the group photo session was after the ceremony. We received our pictures really quickly after the wedding, along with a photo slideshow set to our first song. Scott also shot a photograph of my twin and I with our niece. That and a picture from our wedding are the first images I see every morning. I expected the PortAPotty guy (reception in a field) to be a little sleazy, and the DJ to be a little cheesy. They were. On a day when we're attempting to surround ourselves with all that is good and loving in our lives, it is admittedly a little sucky to have a few pecuniary relationships while you're trying to cha-cha with your relatives. Besides creative ability, above all, Scott is a good guy and will not make you feel that way. A google search of his non-wedding works will show you that he uses his art as a creative force for good and social justice causes. This bleeds over into his other work. Couldn't provide a higher recommendation. read more

Scott did my wedding and also two of my daughters. He manages to be unobtrusive and yet gets all of the important shots and they are wonderful photos. I think for what you get you would pay two or three times his rate. If you look on his website his photography in general is at the very highest level. You can't go wrong when you get a nice guy, a good rate, and incredible photos. One of my daughters and now also her friends have also used Scott to take family portraits and they have also been amazing, I"m looking at a photo of my granddaughter that he took that is really incredible. read more

Scott did our engagement photos and wedding photos. We've also had him take family photos every year since our daughter was born. They're all amazing. He takes beautiful pictures, and he makes you feel totally comfortable while he does them. I've had many friends ask for his contact information and they've all been really happy with their own photos as well. read more

We scheduled a last minute family photo session with Scott and he was great. Easy to work with, he made everyone feel at ease and the photos were beautiful, with vibrant colors and captured the moments perfectly. We would definitely work with him again! read more

We loved working with Scott! We loved his work and his personality. He is a great person and that comes through in how he works with his clients. He is also a really calming presence - definitely a plus! He helped us think through what photos we wanted and photos best fit in with the day's events too. This year marks our 5 year wedding anniversary and we still think of him fondly and love looking through the photos he captured from our wedding. They stand the test of time: he caught all the wonderful little moments in addition to the big ones and looking through his photos really brings us back to what the day felt like. We recommend him to everyone we know looking for an amazing wedding (or other event) photographer. We are so happy we worked with Scott. read more

In Scott we found a collaborator, a confidante, a co-conspirator, and perhaps even a friend (we like to think so). Over the course of two days (small civil ceremony in Central Park, and larger family event in the Berkshires) Scott displayed poise and professionalism on every front. Prior to our wedding(s) he mapped out a gameplan to capture the 'must-have' images (group shots for our families), and executed the organization of these shots flawlessly. He also excelled at capturing those fly-on-the-wall images that you don't realize are happening, until you see the joy of the moment in the photos afterwards. We have posted a variety of both kinds of images on social media to near universal acclaim. Along the way Scott came up with good ideas, remained committed to the task at hand, and impressed us -- and our guests -- with his friendly demeanor and easy-going attitude. Working with Scott was an absolutely pleasure, and an experience we'll treasure. And really, the results speak for themselves: Scott took some damn good photos, and provided us with countless reminders of our happiest of days. For that, we are truly grateful. We offer Scott our highest recommendation, and wish him nothing but the very best moving forward. - Mat & Nadine Morrison read more

I honestly cannot say enough wonderful things about Scott. He was an absolute joy to work with. We receive so many compliments on our wedding photos. My husband and I had planned an intimate ceremony (5 people, including us). While we didn't want a big wedding, we still wanted to have beautiful photos to share with our friends and family. I received Scott's name from a colleague who had nothing but wonderful things to say about him. I checked out his website and emailed him that day. I explained to him our situation and he was more than willing to help us out. We were married in April and true to New England weather, there was snow on the ground. We did the ceremony inside but Scott was a trooper about venturing outdoors to get some great photos with a mountainous backdrop. I have recommended, and continue to recommend Scott to anyone I know looking for a photographer. He puts you at ease and delivers a beautiful finished product. We will definitely be using Scott again for family photos in the near future. read more
