Do not hesitate to secure Holly and Jim for your event!…read more Great, quick communication before, during, and after our wedding. Totally put our minds at ease. Handled the suboptimal conditions (mud everywhere, glaring sun, high winds that knocked things down) at the venue with ease and grace. Didn't even know they were there unless they were talking directly to us (stealthy!). Captured so many gorgeous photos and fun candids. They took our preferences into account- we got the types of photos that were important to us (and more!) and they were in the style we hoped for- natural, did not look heavily edited (and if they were you'd never know it!). Video clips and 1 min video montage were WONDERFUL. Many guests have commented how nicely they captured the essence of our day. Having both of them there was perfect - not only were they able to catch both sides of the wedding party getting ready in separate locations, but also the different angles of the same moments. We will enlist their services again for other events. They were fun and friendly and helpful, and we cannot say enough about Out of the Ordinary Photography!

I of course took up this offer and my daughter's first "professional" photos were taken. Things were different back then than they are now such as pricing and different pic sizes available in certain packages. From what I remember, the staff were nice and I have really good photos of my daughter as we went back several times. Fast forward to current. I now have a new baby and signed up for the iGrow package ($50 gets you pics taken every month, a free 8x10 or smaller, and a collage of pics for the one year mark). I try to get different photographers each time I go so I can see different styles and see who I like/vibe with. There have been a couple of people who I didn't care for and make it a point not to book with them again. While waiting it can be a bit noisy, but that was based on different photographers making different noises to get the attention of children. This I am not a fan of. I can see where it can become annoying and frustrating, especially if your child isn't reacting to it. I continue to get my child's pic taken monthly and have loved the pics received thus far. I can't wait to get the end collage to hang in my home. I wish they would do the advertising as they did back in the day by offering a free photo to try them out. I'm sure they aren't hurting for business, but it would boost their numbers.

My son's school changed to this studio for school pictures this year and I'm disappointed…read more (I'm not going to share photos because I don't want to put my son's face on yelp) I did like that they had options to choose from, but 2 out of the 7 taken and being offered for purchase were just bad photos. One of them he was moving, the other he was opening his eyes too wide and looked ridiculous. It would've been better to not include those for purchase. The lighting was too bright in the photos and none of them looked like traditional school photos. They all had him facing head on and some of them look like passport photos. I would've like better lighting, posed at an angle... I literally took one of the photos and edited myself to look like a traditional school photo. All from my iPhone. And it looks significantly better than what they're trying to sell to us. On top of that they are very expensive and to change the background it's an extra 5 dollars, and they don't have as many options as Adirondack School Portraits does, and for free! They have a retake day that we will do and I'm hoping they come out better because in my opinion they are just mediocre for a photography studio.

She went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed, and captured all sorts of things we were so happy to see after the fact. She was also AMAZING with our pup and flower children. : ) We are thrilled with our sneak peek photos, can't wait to see the full set in a few weeks, and honestly just want Steph to come visit us in Brooklyn to hang out. Thank you, Steph, and can't wait to see you again sometime soon! REVIEW FROM ENGAGEMENT PHOTOS: My partner and I are so so excited to be working with Stephanie for our wedding next year, and she gifted us an hour of engagement photos. We happened to be in town for one day this week, and she moved mountains to be able to meet us for a session. And y'all, she was AMAZING -- she took us from awkward-giggly to having a blast just hanging out together. We just got the sneak peek preview, and they're so great...we look like us, but the very best, happiest, and prettiest versions of us. She was triple prepared with backups on backups in case of surprise weather, made us feel so comfortable (especially important for us as a queer couple) and -- get this -- she even brought us coffee when we rolled up. Hero status. PSA: Book Stephanie for your wedding or literally anything else (headshots, engagement pics, etc.) -- she's the best decision we made in wedding planning and we're so excited to see her again!

I found this photographer and asked her a couple of questions about the beaches we would shoot on since I'm not local. She was very unresponsive and seemed to be offended I asked her questions about the seaweed in her beach photos. Again little to no response. After a week I asked "Are we on?". Finally she responded with I should find another photographer since the beach she shoots on is "not what I want". What?....I never said I didn't like the location, I just asked some questions about what beaches she shot at and emailed her that I was fine with whatever was the prettiest beach. Customers aren't allowed to ask questions about shoot location? Her pictures on her website are not even that good to be honest, she's definitely a novice, but I figured for a quick mini shoot it would be okay. But WOW, couple that with terrible customer service and $295 for 20 minutes for mediocre photos?. Buyer beware...

They spent a ton of time with us the day of the shoot and took an outrageous amount of photos. They were very patient with my almost three year old, unruly doggies and husband!
