Really, really terrible customer service. My husband and five kids are coming down to Ft Lauderdale for NYE and wanted to do a mini photo shoot since it's always hard to get us all together in one place. I found this photographer and asked her a couple of questions about the beaches we would shoot on since I'm not local. She was very unresponsive and seemed to be offended I asked her questions about the seaweed in her beach photos. Again little to no response. After a week I asked "Are we on?". Finally she responded with I should find another photographer since the beach she shoots on is "not what I want". What?....I never said I didn't like the location, I just asked some questions about what beaches she shot at and emailed her that I was fine with whatever was the prettiest beach. Customers aren't allowed to ask questions about shoot location? Her pictures on her website are not even that good to be honest, she's definitely a novice, but I figured for a quick mini shoot it would be okay. But WOW, couple that with terrible customer service and $295 for 20 minutes for mediocre photos?. Buyer beware... read more

I had bought some of Stephanie's photos from her Etsy store over the years and was very excited to hear she was coming to the Bay Area last year. I booked her right away to take pictures of my year old granddaughter. My shy granddaughter took to her right away, and so did my dog. Stephanie arrived to my home on time and took some prep photos of Holly and my pets. Then we went to the park with a variety of outfits and props. It seemed like Stephanie took hundreds of photos and never tired of following Holly around taking candid pictures of her and my daughter. I knew she was just staying in the area with friends so I wasn't expecting to see any pictures until she went home to Florida, but photos started trickling in that very night. The photos she gave us are gorgeous and bring tears to my eyes. A couple months before she came I had taken my daughter to Sears for portraits; they went out of business a couple weeks later taking our pictures and my money with them. As awful as that was, I don't miss those pictures at all now that I have my photos from Stephanie. What she gave us weren't simple portraits, they are family heirlooms. I will cherish them forever. My daughter and I were visiting Ft. Lauderdale for spring break recently and I wanted to have her senior photos done while we were there. I found Stephanie (here on Yelp as a matter of fact!) and I'm so happy I did...she was AWESOME from our first conversation all the way through the shoot, and delivery of the photos. She is so friendly and easy to work with, she made my daughter feel completely at ease and really listened to what SHE wanted from the session. Stephanie has a great eye for lighting, scenery, and backgrounds (we shot in town, on the beach, at the park, etc.), and she took the time to get some really unique candid shots that are absolutely amazing. We couldn't believe our eyes when we got the photos a few days later, edited flawlessly and arranged in an online album from which we can order prints directly. Stephanie has been doing photography for my family and I for a few years. She came prepared day of with a "ready kit" full of everything we could possibly need. She was organized, and managed our timeframe for us, which was so helpful and ensured we got the shots we wanted but never felt rushed. We are from PA and had a family vacation in ft Lauderdale. My wife and I wanted to have some photos taken on the beach with our family. I found Stephanie through yelp and decided to reach out to her. When Jason and I started planning our wedding, fortunately we agreed on pretty much everything in terms of our vision for the day. One of the things we knew was most important to us was the photography. Everyone kept telling us things like, "Your wedding day will go by so fast! Try to remember everything!"
