Dr. Basile is an absolute artist! I have received countless compliments on how incredible my…read moreresults look--especially my incision and belly button. People are genuinely shocked at how natural and flawless everything looks. You'd never know I had surgery unless I told you! After a terrible experience with another surgeon in town, I was hesitant to trust anyone again. But after meeting Dr. Basile and his team--and doing consultations with almost every top-rated surgeon in Jacksonville--I knew I had finally found the one. There was just something different about Dr. Basile. His attention to detail, the warmth and professionalism of his staff, and the way they made me feel like more than just another patient completely set them apart. Dr. Basile was truly my knight in shining armor. He not only fixed what another surgeon messed up, but he exceeded every expectation I had. I feel more confident and happy in my body than I ever have before--and I owe that to him. If you're considering plastic surgery, stop your search now and go see Dr. Basile. Trust me--you will not regret it!

Dr. Basil is a very nice Young aesthetically pleasing Dr. My only regret is I chose him for my…read moreblessed breast reduction not realizing how little experience he had on women over 60. Now, I hide my breast that suffered multiple scarring infections and now are too little shrivel pockets of flesh I hide from everybody. I have to search out thickly padded bras just to have a little bit of a profile and clothes. My journey was a nightmare, and he always blames my body. Even finding out, I had a right breast full of silicone due to an apparently cut implant I had to have him removed after I was hospitalized with an infection. He never mentioned that the implant had come out with a tear or that he accidentally cut it during the removal. Maybe that was the reason for the serious an extended infections I suffer. I'll never get that time back and I miss my large if saggy warm and cuddly breasts that I gave up in hopes of having rest that I could wear a sundress in. I'm sure he does a great job on young women. I remember stopping into his new beaches office, which was quite a step up from when I met him. I think that was the year. He was the plastic surgeon of the jaguars. I ran into a woman about five years younger than me that was there because she had a tummy, tuck makeover, and the staples whatever was used to close. The incision got terribly infected, and she was going through multiple treatments in hospitalization. But she loved him. Everyone loves him. Just remember, ladies don't let any doctor blame your body because they don't factor in the risks and listen to your description of your experiences prior to the surgery. His PA jewel knew that I had thrown down some red flags that Dr. Basil totally ignored. Women are not cookie-cutter dolls. We are all individual. I need to be treated with the upmost care and respect and you need to listen to what we tell you. I'm sure he's learned a lot by now. I will always wish him and his beautiful family, happiness, and success. But my regret is a bucket overflowing.

I was impressed with her education, knowledge and experience. I have researched her "before" and "after" photos of her patients. I also liked how she took her time explaining the procedures and process of recovery. She addressed my specific needs and offered suggestions. The office is beautiful and the front desk staff were welcoming and accommodating. Her patient coordinator, Amanda, was very sweet and explained everything in detail. She was excellent in coordinating my appointments and worked with me on my schedule. I'm excited to meet with Dr. Hancock, and her staff, again next week to go over a few more details and questions regarding my upcoming surgery!

Everything was explained to me in great details and I got a lot of paperwork to read over. I first had a consult with Dr. Bates and then worked with the surgery scheduler to find a date that works for me. I then did pre-op appointments to go over all my medication's and do some don'ts. Everything was explained to me and given to me in writing. Then came the countdown to surgery. Dr. Bates staff checked on me and made sure I knew what to do leading up to the big day. On the day of surgery I went to their surgery center, which was clean, nice and relaxing. I was nervous when I went back, but everyone was so kind and friendly. I woke up in recovery to wonderful staff members. I did have to stay the night but had a very cozy chair and a night nurse who felt like my best friend taking care of me. I almost didn't wanna go home! I'm home now recovering and I'm thankful I picked Dr. Bates and PVPS.

Favorite quality of Contoura.. It's trustworthy. No one has ever tried to "sell me" anything here…read more By that I mean, no one is telling me I need to have certain work done, or pushing me to get fillers because I am of a certain age, or suggesting procedures I've never thought about before. I genuinely keep coming back because of the friendly staff, and trust. Now if or when that day ever comes where surgically I'd like to have something done, I'd choose Contoura. But for now, I'm happy coming here every few months for things like skin care, sun damage repair, advice (that's a big one) etc. Living in Florida, you Need a good skin care plan & regimen to keep the sun damage away. With skin cancer running in my family, I try to stay ahead of the matter as much as I can. A few years back I did a series of IPL laser treatments that really helped reverse some of the sun damage I did in my teens & early 20's by laying out on the beach entirely too much. Contoura's also helped me with embarrassing things like hormonal adult acne. I never thought I'd have to go through a mild phase of my teenage years all over again in my thirties but, there I was a year ago, trying everything under the sun on my own to get rid of it and nothing was working. I booked an appointment at Contoura to express my concern and the remedy was way easier than I expected. Tretinoin. That cleared everything up real quick plus helps with fine lines &/or wrinkles. A two for one? I'm in! (If there are any women out there reading this wondering why you are breaking out when choosing to discontinue birth control, try tretinoin. This should help the issue in less than a week's time) Ok now that I've way overshared in this review, I need to give a huge thankful shout out to Becky! Over the past couple of years, I've booked appointments with Becky at Contoura and her advice and company while visiting Contoura is always a real pleasure. I genuinely look forward to seeing her and catching up with what's going on in her life. I've raved about Brookes in my 5 star google review a few years back and I definitely stand by that statement. Brookes is wonderful to book appointments with and a pleasure to see, always. Now it's time I rave about Becky here on Yelp, and Destin! Both women will tell you the best advice for keeping a youthful glow that's catered to your skin, and help you achieve that goal. I honestly can't rave about all of the staff enough. I would not keep coming back year after year if I didn't swear by the results myself.

Dr. Smith actually studied under the doctor that created the surgical procedure I had as a toddler. Way Cool! We went in for a consultation. We didn't end up using him for the surgery (hospital privileges & other things were hard to coordinate), but I did schedule a few appointments to come in for a glycolic peel. Mom was willing to pay, I was willing to go. Super friendly staff from the front desk to the nurses. Very courteous & helpful with providing as much information as you need. If I ever consider doing anything cosmetically - doubtful, but never say never - I would definitely have Dr. Smith's office on my list as one of the first places to check out.
