Since this was our first time here (and our daughters first ever dental appointment) I was expecting a bit more (after reading all the reviews) and was surprised the tech never introduced herself or really engaged with our daughter. She was however, incredibly patient as our daughrrr decided toe or three different times she wanted to sit in the chair and lay back to attempt to watch to. In the end she lost interest and by the time Doctor Dave came in with his "silly glasses" Our daughter opted to sit in my lap. Dr. Dave did a quick explanation of how we were going to conduct the "cleaning" he had me lower my mask to show how he would count teeth. He sang the abcs as he checked my daughters teeth, remain engaged/attentive and answered questions. He even managed to floss her teeth (not even sure how he pulled that one off; maybe he's a magician!) Overall, we had a positive experience and will continue to use this elective for our dental needs; but I think it may be geared towards kids maybe 4+; but we gotta start somewhere. Lastly, the treasure we received was a Mickey toothbrush, floss, toy car, and bubbles (a huge hit). I had picked some stickers (since this is what our daughter loves) and hopefully made this a positive experience for her so she continues to enjoy her time at the dentist.

He creates such a great rapport with kids and parents. Even my generally apprehensive daughter was excited to return after her first appointment.

The practice has been exceptional in every regard. Drs. Kramer and Bunin are friendly, setting me and my daughters at ease at every appointment. They explain things clearly so I always know what's going on with their dental health. They work with my insurance plans to make sure I get the most benefit without having to pay more out of pocket. For example, at one time, I learned that only 1 fluoride treatment would be covered per year, so at my request they reduced it to once per year per girl. However, when my benefit changed, they made sure the girls got the second treatment again. Neither of my girls has ever had a cavity. They are 10 and 16 now. The office bills me appropriately at check out. Once I received a check from Dr. Kramer for an overpayment that I'm sure I would have never known about. Thirteen years as a customer with two daughters who see the dentist twice per year and I can't think of anything to complain about. That's pretty amazing. When we were new patients, they welcomed my daughter by name on a white board in the reception area. The staff is cordial. Reminders are sent and phone calls made for upcoming appointments. At each appointment, the girls get stickers and little kids can pick a prize from the prize box. We have always been seen promptly. Five stars for this practice!

Our son had been a patient at this practice for several years and we'd always been satisfied with…read morethe service and treatment, however our most recent experience has caused us to find a different practice. The issue was with the front office staff and one member in particular who either did not understand how to correctly process our insurance or was just incompetent and rude. We recently changed insurance companies, and she was unable to verify our coverage. Rather than calling to discuss and get it all figured out, she waited until my wife and son were at the office for a follow up appointment and had my wife standing at the front desk for 20+ minutes while she claimed that we didn't have valid insurance. This was needlessly embarrassing for my wife and son when a simple phone call ahead of time could have resolved the questions. Ultimately, I returned to the office and had a discussion with Dr. Kramer, who apologized for the whole situation, but at no time did the woman working the front desk apologize. I guess at the end of the day, losing one patient isn't a big deal for them, but we will not be returning to the practice and would urge others, especially those with military affiliation to avoid since the front office clearly does not understand how military retiree insurance works. So disappointed in how the whole situation was mishandled, especially since it could have so easily been worked out without the humiliation of my wife and son.

They have a cute little built in house with books and little toys for small kids and they have games for the older kids too, my son loves the racing game they have! Their TV is always playing some type Disney movie and their decor resembles somewhat of a Forrest, super cute and appealing for kids. The front desk is very attentive and polite. They're really good at sending reminders for appointments and assisting with setting up appointments. Their wait times are very minimal. I've never gone there and waited longer than 5 minutes to be called. As for the staff in the back, they're angels. Their dental assistants are so patient and gentle. My son isn't very fond of the dentist and it takes a little longer than usual for a simple cleaning....usually if the assistant is having issues with the cleaning the dentist steps in and helps. They're literal angels and definitely know how to deal with children. Recently we went in for a quick cleaning and of course he was giving some push back. Our dentist was amazing! She was able to calm him down and gain his trust. I am very pleased with their services and bed side manners. Even though I've moved from the Burke area I will continue to make the drive here. I've been recommending this location to friends I have in the area. If you prefer fluoride or no fluoride to be used for the cleaning they are very respectful with your choices and will always tailor to the needs of your child. Amazing dental place for kids! 10/10 recommend!

I go in for cleanings and come out with a toothbrush. I had spaghetti and cracked my tooth on a red pepper seed ( the shaker kind). I go to my dentist, whom I love (Dr. Erik Fox), and he gives me a root canal. This is the root canal from hell (three sessions), but he handles it, and everything seems to be going well until...I develop a blister on my gum. Dr. Erik sent me to Northern Virginia Oral, Maxillofacial, and Implant Surgery and promised they would take good care of me. He wasn't wrong. Did I mention I'm a crybaby? LOL! During the consultation, I started crying when they told me what was going to happen. Just tears leaking out of my eyes, but they were so kind to me. Dr. Aslam assured me that it was ok. When people had traumatic episodes with dentists when they were younger (I did), they're often really scared. He promised everything would be ok..and it was. I went in, and they let my husband come back with me and hold my hand. After the needle went in for the anesthesia, I remember nothing except going to the spice markets in Marakesh...that's a wild dream, right? But not a bad one. When I woke up, they gave me a care package to take home and helped my husband get me into the car after giving him aftercare instructions. The care package had my first two doses of pain medication, pear-flavored chapstick for my lips, a barf bag (just in case), tons of gauze, and instructions on how to take care of the wound. I was thrilled that they not only got the tooth out but could do the bone graft and implant placement all at once. From the reception area people (Hi Amber!) to Dr Aslam and the nurses, I felt I was in good hands. They were understanding about my anxiety and never belittled it. They LITERALLY held my hand through the experience. I would definitely recommend them.

We showed up for the consultation appointment and waited for almost an hour to be seen; when we go back, the dentist was looking at 2 yr old xrays and I had to point that fact out to him because he couldn't read the date...which i though was kind of a red flag, pink it least. So, they do updated xrays and we move forward with the consultation and I schedule an appt to get my sons wisdom teeth removed. The appointment was scheduled more than 30 days out... the evening before the appointment on June 6, 2025, I received a call saying the insurance was still not confirmed and unless i wanted to pay out of pocket, they would have to reschedule the appointment. I asked them to call me back to schedule once they verify insurance. This place NEVER called back. What I have received, 2 billings for $10.93 with no indication why i was billed. I get it it's $10.93, it least its not $110.93. I paid this a month ago because I realize this place is not good and I just want them to go away. Today, August 1, 2025, I received the same billing for $10.93. I called at 330pm on a Friday and the office is closed, but the office hours are listed to be open til 430pm. The point in all this is, don't waste your time with this practice, find a better place for you or your family member to be put under and have someone cutting into your mouths.
