If you are absolutely certain that this office takes your insurance, or if you are planning to pay out of pocket for your treatment, this place is probably fine. However, if you aren't sure if they accept your insurance, be aware that they will not tell you whether or not they do until AFTER your consultation, for which they will charge you a $135 consultation fee "for the doctor's time," regardless. This is true even if you have filled out all of your paperwork two weeks ahead of time and specifically asked the front desk about your insurance. So, if you enjoy being cheated out of money, by all means proceed!

She has treated me and my children really well over the years and I absolutely recommend her as a wonderful and experienced orthodontist. Her staff are also so friendly and knowledgeable. She has been very helpful and informative. When my insurance gave me some troubles, Rose was able to get on the phone with them. The entire staff is really nice and they all remember you. When my parents came to pick me up after my extraction, they chatted with them and my parents loved it. Also, both Dr. Dominguez and Dr. Kermanshi are very nice and helpful. And my teeth ARE and FEEL fine, but according to this dentist, I couldn't trust how I felt. But the thing that makes me confident this guy is full of it is that, when he was describing my teeth grinding, he said, "what about the headaches you told me about?" when I had never disclosed this symptom to him (because I have not had this symptom!) Sorry insurance isn't reimbursing you enough bud, but I am taking my business elsewhere. If I were an easier mark I would have paid thousands extra to make these fixes for problems that don't exist. But the bigger problem was getting Invisalign from Dr. Townes -- what a nightmare. She shaved a gap between my front teeth, saying that they would push back together once the overcrowding of the side teeth pulled out. I had a horrible feeling letting her do this; my intuition, which I didn't listen to, was warning me this would be a permanent issue. When the diagnosis was that it would only take 5 months of treatment, I thought that also seemed rushed. Sure enough at the end (and I wore the trays religiously), the teeth were not fully pushed out and the gap is still visible. PLUS, I kept paying the practice for services and banging on their door to deliver them! I paid for the Invisalign in full, and then had to actually show up in the office after two months and ask them when my treatment would start. Every time I would call they'd put me off. Same thing happened with my retainer. I plopped down $350 for the retainer, which I thought may help correct what was still wrong with my teeth. They said it would take 2 - 3 weeks to arrive. At 3 weeks I called. Again, they kept putting me off! I was worried about all my money and effort being thrown out the window because I had no maintenance. So when over a month had gone by I went to the office to complain...again. And they still hadn't ordered it!!!! I talked to the dentist directly; she seemed absolutely clueless as to what was going on with me (dental "care" - wow). Whenever I would call the desk staff would ask me about my "treatment plan" as if they have absolutely no patient records on file. WTF??? It was two months by the time they gave me my retainer, the day before I was about to leave the country for three months. And, of course -- it didn't fit!! The bottom one didn't fit AT ALL because my teeth had shifted so much in the wait, so I just threw that away, and top one just fits around the front teeth and hangs off the back rendering it uncomfortable and probably ineffective. They offered to order me a new one when I got back. What a joke. And throughout all of this, they would call me nearly every two weeks, trying to schedule me for cleanings $$. DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST!!!

I did ask how they are scheduling due to Covid cases rising, front desk explained they're only seeing one patient at a time to make sure no one is feeling uncomfortable and to make sure they have enough sanitizing space in between patients. Dr. Goray, 10/10 recommend. Very thorough, explained it veeeeery well (dumbed it down for me i'm sure lol) to me. He was very nice, took his time with everything. Despite my latest appointment having been made by case management at my current insurer, and therefore comes with full verification up front, Jeanette will not back down from insisting that I am not covered. When I tried to point out where she made the mistake she got nasty and tried to keep me from talking by talking over me. When I asked if there was someone else that could help me, she cancelled my appointment and hung up on me. It can be hard to establish a relationship with a dentist but I feel that I need to start over elsewhere.
