This individual engages in Medicare remote patient monitoring billing fraud!
He's billing my Medicare insurance each month and I have reported him for fraud.
I have a copy of my medicare statement to PROVE this, but the image refuses to load here on Yelp. I also have an image of this person, but that photo refuses to upload as well.
That's fine, because I'll copy the text directly from Medicare and paste it here!
Service (procedure code)
CHRONIC CARE MANAGEMENT SERVICES, FIRST 20 MINUTES OF CLINICAL STAFF TIME DIRECTED BY HEALTH CARE PROFESSIONAL, PER CALENDAR MONTH (99490)
Total amount charged $490.00
Here's his whole scam, so you don't get fooled by any of this too!
He hires people to set up a small table directly outside of a Walmart. They have signs that indicates they are giving away FREE blood-pressure monitors.
Obviously, they are NOT free and you must have medical insurance to cover the cost. I used my Medicare card.
You are given a blood-pressure machine.
What they FAIL to tell you is that they plan to bill Medicare HUNDREDS of DOLLARS on a regular basis to "process" the data that the machine sends to their computer!
See, the blood-pressure machine connects to the internet and sends the results of each daily test to Wilchek's computer.
Medicare is billed each month, EVEN IF YOU DO NOT USE THE MACHINE!
I gave my machine away to a convenience-store cashier and she verified that it's sitting in her home and was only used one single time.
So, Wilchek's computer creates fraudulent data and then BILLS MEDICARE hundreds of dollars for "processing" it.
Now, he has handed out many of these machines, probably a thousand or more. He has people setting up tables all over the county and handing out these machines.
So, his monthly Medicare billing most likely runs into the hundreds of thousands of dollars!
Medicare is WELL AWARE of this scam. It's called REMOTE PATIENT MONITORING FRAUD!
You can type that into Google and learn a whole lot more!
Now, I reported this LONG AGO, but the lady told me that there is just SO MUCH Medicare fraud that it will be a while before my case is processed.
I tried calling Wilchek directly, but his phone number is for a NURSING HOME. They know exactly what he's doing, so they refuse to put him on the phone or relay any messages.
That's fine, because the longer he collects money from Medicare, the more they will take back when they finally catch up with him.
You steal several million dollars from the government Medicare agency and you may very well end up in a federal prison for a while!
You lose EVERYTHING! Your home and your bank account are seized!
This is FRAUD and when you cross over into the hundreds of thousands of dollars range, they want prison time and full restitution as well as a fine that depends on the amount that you stole.
They'll take everything you have and you'll end up mortgaging your home to pay for legal representation!
This is the perfect way to end up with NOTHING LEFT at retirement age!
The bottom line is DO NOT accept any sort of medical device from anyone other than a trusted doctor.
It's NOT free.
This is a well-known scam that the government agencies are investigating as fast as they find them.
When I reported the fraud, the lady laughed and told me how they take everything you stole back, plus a whole lot more besides!
Oh, you may steal from Medicare for a while and get away with it, and believe it's all free money and that nobody will ever notice. But, you could NOT be more wrong.
When they hunt you down, they will freeze your assets and recover whatever you took.
They don't even need my statement, because this scam has been going on for long enough that they already know all about it.
Like I said, this is EXACTLY how you end up old and poor, with nothing left to your name. All because you ran some stupid fraudulent billing scam on the federal government.
This is easily one of the DUMBEST scams I ever saw. This idiot claims to be a PSYCHIATRIST, of all things.
Sounds like HE'S the one who needs his head examined for doing something this stupid! read more
