I followed the truck about a mile as I was heading the same way, but then it turned around and apparently went to my house (I kept going the other way but the house had a lockbox so the guy let himself in - I didn't even need to be there). An hour later the place is fixed and I get a very reasonable bill in the mail a few days later. After that stellar experience I used the company 2 more separate times and found them to be quick and reasonable. I fear that as more people find out about them they will raise their prices or something (isn't that how it always goes) but I'm nonetheless willing to spread the word. So, a big thumbs up from me.

0/10 - do not recommend to anyone for anything…read more Terrible experience with this contractor. They were hired to do tile flooring in our kitchen. A crew came out Jan 24th, "completed" the job in 1 day. Tiles were terrible cut, grout was cracking and falling out, trim was barely hanging on. Horrendous job. After much back and forth, they finally came out 5 weeks to fix their terrible work. I was told they would come out to do the work and it would take 1-2 days. It ended up taking them a week, Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday, to re-do the job. Some days were no call no shows, leaving us with plywood from the base construction of the building as our kitchen floors for that week. The job is still not completed as there are still areas of the flooring unfinished. Absolutely terrible work, and even worse customer experience. Would not recommend to anyone looking to have any kind of work done.

Steer clear! Shackleford's was the plumbing sub-contractor on our new house build. Within a year…read moreof the build, we had 3 water leaks behind the walls. Shackleford's took zero responsibility - actually wanted to charge to replace the parts they supplied and installed, and of course took no responsibility for the thousands of dollars of water leak repairs. Now 2 years later, after having intermittent problems with the water heater, we had a factory trained tech come, and he identified that the water heater was installed incorrectly in the first place, when the Shackleford crew (who by the way are not authorized installers of Navien water heaters) left screws loose inside the unit. The occasional glitch happens ..... but after multiple issues it's clear there is a pattern of negligence. Oh, and don't bother calling them for help, once they know you have a problem with their plumbing install, they won't return your calls.
