Great service, fair prices, and expert mechanics. What more is there to say? Their sign is a bit faded, but they're in business.

I called on Monday only to get a recording stating that they were closed on Mondays, so i called back on Tuesday and let them know I was interested in purchasing said scooter. I was told that they didn't have one in house, but there was one in their warehouse and they would have it brought to the store for my purchase. Wednesday I got a confirmation call that the scooter would be ready for pick-up by my next day off. Friday I went into the store, finalized all the details and drove my beautiful new scooter home. This location also sells motorcycles, 4-wheelers, power generators, helmets, gloves and other cycling accessories. Although I paid for my bike outright, they offer financing assistance if you need to pay for your purchase over time. Thanks Honda of New Orleans for bringing me and my scooter together. Although I think 'Honda of Kenner' would be a more appropriate and realistic name for your business. ;-)

BTW if you leave anything there they make you sign a 3 page contract, release stating if you have issues they WILL be resolved by arbitration. It means if they screw it up you still gonna pay half!!! Friendly enough folks for sure. They had my bike for 6 weeks before I called them and asked them what's up and they informed me they didn't want to work on it and that would be $100. Not even a list of broken stuff on her that I needed to fix myself. Then they had the nerve to ask me "hey if you need any parts get them from us...!" This is in line with the Hall's on Westbank that wanted considerably more than MSRP on some tire's. I'm glad biz is good at these places because I'll switch over to HD before I'll ever do biz with either Halls location.

Buyer beware With FX…read morerecommended by Moto Julia for working on older BMWs, I bought what I thought to be a good deal from a good mechanic. I believed I was purchasing the exact bike I had been searching for; turned out to be quite the project bike I didn't really want. I currently kind of feel stuck with a money pit of a motorcycle that Dave said was good, ready to go, and he would ride across the country as is... I soon learned to consider it unsafe in the condition it was and have found multiple roadside stranding type issues since purchasing. It has been stranded in my driveway more than once with, intially, an officially tested bad, failed battery and then a completely worn out starter motor. I was able to get it running again for a few hundred dollars in replacement parts, and a lot of work on my part. These are not the only problems I have been finding but the only ones that left the bike unable to start at all. I am hopefully only looking at around $2k to get it to where I think I can ride it to British Columbia and back, like I did on one of my former older in far from perfect type of shape BMW bikes. The point is I'm having to work and spend $ on this bike a lot more than I'm riding it when I was told it was good to go as is... Be very careful and know what you are doing or bring someone who does. I'm uncovering more and more issues with and cheap parts installed in this bike as I get work on the other potential problems, that I had voiced concerns about when I was buying it (that Dave said were normal charateristics for this type of motorcycle to have). #1 was slack in drivetrain - which may or may not need serious repair - some owners online have said they have lived with "the drive clunk" for many miles on their R1150 models - others have rebuilt shaft, bearings, and splines throughout the drivetrain to remedy, = $$$ Beware of vehicle purchases without clear mechanical certainty of what you are buying. Be thorough and don't let your excitement get the better of your judgement. Really inspect every detail when purchasing from here and don't take their word for it just because they are mechanics. I do like the bike and believe I can eventually fix all its issues I'm discovering but I probably won't be using Fx to do any more of the work on it. The repairs I did have done there were grossly underestimated, and I was charged 12hrs at $119.00/hr instead of the quoted 4-6hrs. Otherwise, Dave is very friendly and helpful, as is the woman working the front desk. Going by other reviews, maybe they are better with the scooters but I don't advise going there for BMW repairs/service.

The service is always top notch. The inventory of upper-end bikes and gear is the best in town. They've cut back on Vespas, with only a few on the showroom floor, but no doubt they'll be able to satisfy your needs. The service department is great, as well. If you're in the market for anything from a Ducati to a Vespa, or just want to drool over a few, pay them a visit!

Yes, this fine establishment also sells Triumph motorcycles and Piaggio scooters, but to a motorcycle enthusiast like myself, there is nothing more soul stirring than the sound of an Italian L-twin engine; especially one equipped with a Termignoni exhaust. But I digress. The store's owner Zach Mattherne is super friendly and can often be found on the showroom floor chatting with customers. Recently, a new salesperson named Matt has joined the staff. He's also super friendly and very knowledgable. Even if you're not in the market for a new motorcycle, but are a fan of them, stop on by and check them out. The reason I am updating this review is for a recent service I had on my Honda CBR 954 rr at this dealership. Yeah, you heard me right. A Honda motorcycle got serviced at a Ducati dealership. For 3 weeks, the Transportation Revolution offered a full synthetic (Castrol) oil change and motorcycle inspection for only $50.00. ($30.00 for scooters). For those of you "cagers" who do not ride motorcycles and think this doesn't sound like a good deal, let me assure you that it is. Quick lesson: Most motorcycle engine (not Harley Davidsons) oil not only lubricates the engine's internals, it also acts as the transmission fluid and as an oil bath for the wet clutch. Therefore, it has to be formulated to withstand extreme heat and shearing forces. That's why motorcycle oil off the shelf can cost anywhere from $10.00- 18.00 per quart. Therefore, a $50.00 oil change and inspection is a deal. They even found a loose rearset (footpeg) on my bike and tightened it up with some locktite. My service advisor (Rob E.) was very professional and had my bike ready to go within 2 hours, which was cool by me as I was a walk in customer late in the afternoon hours the day before a holiday weekend. Kudos for the shop area being exceptionally clean and well organized. In fact, I've never seen a shop so clean. More to come.......I hope.

After having moving back to Louisiana from Los Angeles in 2009, my 2002 Honda CBR 954rr…read more(motorcycle) needed some maintenance and I did not want to bring it to the Honda dealer. A friend and coworker (thanks Don Paul) recommended that I bring my bike to Paul Cashio cycles in Belle Chasse. I rarely get to the Westbank, but he swore by this place; so I decided to give it a try. This turned out to be one of the best decisions I ever made because Cashio Cycles meticulously maintained my bike until I sold it in JAN 2019. The owner (Paul Cashio) and his technician/mechanic son (Arthur) run a two man show and cater to race bikes, particularly drag bikes. However, they work and perform maintenance on all types of bikes from cruisers to dirt bikes to "crotch rockets". Cashio Cycles only uses Royal Purple oil, so if you want something else, bring it with you. Royal Purple makes an oil for any and all types of motorcycles, and it is especially effective in providing added protection and performance in high performance street and race bikes. I used Royal Purple in my bike for nearly a decade and had no complaints. The prices for service at Cashio Cycles are comparable to what you would pay at a motorcycle dealership; perhaps even a little less expensive. However, in my honest opinion, I feel that I received a lot more personalized attention that any dealer has ever given me. For all you racers out there, Mr. Paul has a dynamometer (dyno) so that you can get your bike custom tuned using the latest software. There are plenty of stretched Busas (Suzuki Hyabusas with elongated swingarms for racing) and ZX-14's (Kawasaki Ninja 1400 cc bikes) waiting to be serviced, so it's obvious that this place has a great reputation with the sports bike scene. All my experiences here over the past decade have been great. After every service, Mr. Cashio usually called me a week or so after the work had been completed to see how my bike was running. This is the kind of personalized customer service that made me a repeat customer. Quite recently, the shop moved to its new location at 1805 Engineers Road in Belle Chasse. The new location is much bigger and there's the added bonus of not having to cross the tunnel to get to the new location. There is currently no signage on the building; therefore, be mindful of the address. Also, be advised that the shop is now open during the afternoon / evening hours from 1 PM until 7 PM. Although these are not "traditional" work hours for a motorcycle shop, it seems to service his customers better. I recently made the decision to sell my motorcycle after having owned it for 17 years. Mr. Paul told me I could leave the bike at his shop so that it could be exposed to potential buyers. Low and behold, I got a call on 30 JAN 2019 from Mr. Paul who had arranged a cash sale for me. He even arranged for the title transfer at ABC Title for me. Although I sadly no longer have a bike, I have a friend in Paul & Arthur Cashio at Cashio Cycles, and if I ever get another bike, this is the only place I plan on bringing it to for any type of maintenance or repairs. I can't recommend them enough!
