The absolute worst Mocha I have ever been handed. Burnt, weak coffee flavor & bitter chocolate. I threw most of it away. That said, they are very efficient handling a lot of cars in the morning. 5 people in front of me but I waited only a couple minutes to order. read more

On our drive from Texas to Nebraska, we started seeing Scooter's Coffeehouse in several locations. We always enjoy the experience of a local coffee dive. This was obviously not a dive and more of a drive thru chain, but seeing them everywhere made us curious to see what they had to offer. My daughter ordered a turtle latte and I ordered a matcha latte. I understand that this is probably not what they would pick as their best menu item, so take that into consideration. Both drinks were basically a large milk with a hint of flavor. We both tried to finish our drinks, but just couldn't do it. The employee was very courteous and the line went fast. Maybe if you order a more traditional menu item, you will have a better experience. Keep in mind it's fast and readily available without having to get out of your car, so I could see how that might appeal to some when you're crunched on time; especially for the antiStarbucks types. I won't give it a 2, because my particular order was not traditional. But I don't see how it could be anything above average. read more

I've never gotten a drink from anywhere that's been a perfect mix of coffee and sweetness like this iced vanilla latte. My husband really enjoyed his wild berry smoothie with Red Bull as well. We stayed I. Kearney for a night while on a 20 hour trip home and I'm so glad we tried Scooters this morning! read more

I just discovered Scooter's in December on a holiday road trip. My first experience was in North Platte. The site was so well done. I loved the decor!! Wished I had time to sit in there a while! Coffee was great and I loved the holiday cups!! And the smiley face sticker! 2nd time at Scooter's in Kearney, NE on New Year's Eve morning. Went through drive through. Very fast, pleasant service. Coffee again really good. This time tried the large sugar cookie with peppermint icing that I was able to resist last time. It was melt in your mouth delicious!! I was again charmed by the holiday cups and smiley face stickers! My stops Scooter's added joy to a long road trip. So happy to have found you! read more

I have gone to scooters for years, and have always been pleased not only with the coffee but the service provided. ( that is why this review is a 3 star instead if a 1 )My most recent experience offered neither. I ordered a lg. Skinny, sf, mocha with an extra shot and initially received a md decaf mocha....no problem, I understand mistakes are made. When I do receive my drink and take a sip it tasted like tasteless hot milk. When I go back to the window and politely explain that I think I received a latte because it just tastes like hot milk the young lady wishes to argue semantics with me that a mocha is a latte....so again I have to say, it tastes like hot milk, no mocha and is neither good tasting or tastes like anything I have received at scooters before. She begrudgingly remakes the drink, no apology, she simply acted as though I was a nuisance and didn't know what I was talking about. I will definitely stick to the scooters over south from now on or frequent the Starbucks that's about to open across the street from this scooters location. So sad how one indifferent and rude employee can dissolve a 3 plus year loyal customer relationship. read more
