They have seating area inside if you'd like to sit down, grab a coffee and eat your donuts. You go up to the display glass and pick whichever donuts are available. Upon request (and I assume availability), you can pick any unfilled long donuts and pick a filling - I chose the chocolate iced with raspberry, but can only do this with two at a time, so also did a white glaze with nuts to pair. They were happy to help us and navigate the donut variety since we'd never been before. Letting us know of that option when we started picking filled donuts. This place was such a great find. Their donuts are always fresh, delicious and have such a great texture. I've had their bear claws too, they are so good. I ordered a dozen cupcakes for my daughter's birthday over the phone, 3 weeks in advance. The nice gentleman took all my information and I made arrangements to pick them up at 7 a.m. on the 3rd. of July. I arrived at 7 and the young server couldn't find my order. She asked another employee and that employee told me, "I didn't make them." I said I had ordered them over the phone over 3 weeks ago and they had taken my number and all my information. She said, "If the baker doesn't call you back you don't have an order. I didn't call you so you don't have an order." Reluctantly, I purchased a dozen donuts/rolls (I wish I would have just left). As I was paying a third employee said, "Oh look the beetle is back! They're down here (pointing to the floor behind the food counter). THESE are the best Donuts in Kearney. They are made everyday, fresh dough and fried every. single. day. They are so good people buy them by the dozen, two or four at a time! So sometimes they run out of my favorite. But it's okay, because there is something to try that I find I love!! I've seen people become downright irate because they can't get what they want. Guess what? Order ahead of time! Get there earlier! They open at like 3am, and since they are fresh, no, they can't just go in the back and make more. If you think that, you have no idea the work that goes into these products. Go buy crappy doughnuts from Walmart or Hy-Vee, frozen pre-packaged junk! The donuts are awesome...when you can get them. They are suppose to open at 3AM. My friends and I got there at 3AM...and the door was locked. So we tried the drive through. We sat there for 25 minutes while the employee ignored us...ignored the people knocking on the front door and ignored the phone, (we could hear it ring inside through the window) four times!!! We could see a woman inside and my friend said she looked right at us once...and still she ignored us. We were never acknowledged and ended up leaving because 25 minutes is ridiculous.
