I usually get very good service when I visit a Starbucks. That was not the case here. I submitted a mobile order as I always do and I walked in and went to the pick up counter. There were four employees working at the counter and not one of them greeted me or even looked at me. Three of them were taking care of the drive-up window. Finally one of them asked me what I ordered. Really. I was the only one in the place and standing at the to go counter. I told her my name so she grabbed a cup and slopped my order together. Then she laid it down and said"here you are". No sorry for the wait, thank you, kiss my ***. Nothing. Glad I don't live local because I would never return here. read more

I am not sure who runs the Kearney Starbucks but it is so poorly managed. I waited in line for @20 min while ( I thought) the guy in front of my car was taking that long --ONLY to find out I waited that long!! Finally a voice came on and said they closed early to staffing issues!! With a long line behind me I am guessing everyone else will wait as long only to be told they were closed!! It is not uncommon to see signs blocking the driveway because they are closed--I understand Covid and all but other businesses don't seem to have that 'open one day closed the next' problem and lately when they open it is at 11:30! Who wants coffee then?? #frustrating read more

Our family would like to acknowledge the kind and compassionate gesture that the Kearney Starbucks made to us this past week. While in Starbucks we mentioned that we were returning to the hospital. We have two family members who were in a horrific accident west of Kearney and we mourn the loss of the two individuals in the other vehicle. As we left the employees told us to wait and gifted us boxes of baked goods to take to the waiting room. This was such a loving gesture and was much appreciated by our family. Worst service at a Starbucks ever! Waited 20 minutes for our drinks as employees busted their butts for the drive thru and neglected inside customers. Good thing we are only passing thru! This is the worst Starbucks that I have been to. That is saying a lot, since many airport Starbucks stores are pretty terrible. I waited in the lobby in front of the register waiting to be acknowledged or served for 6 minutes before the staff noticed that I was heading to the door to leave. There were four (4) staff members who I observed look at me but did not care. Apparently, they only care about drive through orders here. Do NOT go into the lobby, they will not serve you. This appears to be a systemic issue at this location, as evidenced from other reviewers. I was able to finally place an order. They took the order, with a serious amount of attitude nonetheless, and then went back to gossiping and working the drive through. When the barrista called my order, I went to pick it up and it was incorrect. I asked about it and he did not seem to care. Again, another missed opportunity to help remedy an already terrible experience and now wasted money for something that I did not order since the barrista either does not care or cannot read the label since the order was entered into the computer correctly. I was in town to be with a terminally ill family member and I noticed this store. I thought that this would be a known element that I could have to help me during this trying time. Boy was I wrong........ I will NEVER be back to this Starbucks location. read more

I've had excellent service in other Starbucks, but not at the Kearney Target location. On March 16th, while I waited for friends who were shopping, I decided to get an iced cold brew with cream and sugar. There were some brownies in the case, so I asked for those too. My server said, "We don't have any brownies." I said, "Yes you do, they are right there in the case." She said, "I can't sell those to you unless you want 3 day old brownies." I said, "That's okay, I will take them." She said, No, I can't sell those to you." A while later she plopped a plain iced coffee on the counter and told me milk and sugar were on the shelf. As she walked away, she said to a coworker, I'm going to get fired." I was thinking she sure would be if I were her boss and that was her usual attitude. This won't keep me from other Starbucks, but I won't shop that one again. read more

Driving through Kearney, and I was excited there was a Starbucks in town. Out in the middle of nowhere. Placed our order at the drive through. Our yeti cups were in the back of our RAV4, so I got out to get them when we pulled up to the window. You'd think I was committing a crime with the look I got from the cashier, or whatever he was. From then on, it was pure attitude. For what? We weren't holding up the line. Just a quick in and out of the car. Anyway, aside from the prissy attitude from man-bun, the coffee is really well done. My flat white was delicious, as was my partners' drink. So only three stars because of the attitude I will think about all day. read more

The drink tasted fine. Just a tall Iced caramel latte with the usual standard espresso taste, milk/caramel syrup, however it wasn't the clique drink which made my experience rather unpleasant. The help rolled their eyes when I paid for my drink as it was mostly change. I had just come from the gym, so my attire may not have looked the best kept, but nonetheless I was a paying customer as well as a human being. They never asked my name, barely said hi, and set my drink on the counter without notification. No big deal. Shortly afterwards several very well dressed individuals entered and the contrast in customer service was very apparent. The help bent over backwards for them. In this industry, things slip, most of the time the employees do not intentionally mean to come across inconsiderate etc, but this was different. All the usual here. In this afternoon for small Americano with 4 shots expresso. Just right. Nationwide this chain doesn't have honey except for the small squeeze packets. Too much time needed for that and messy. So I usually take the raw sugar. Good service here as is usual any location. No complaints ever. read more

I don't normally do reviews of national chain establishment. But I have to tell you this Starbucks fucking rocks. Staff is cool, the service was fast. And the quality was good. The tables, floors. And bathrooms were all immaculate. If you're staying at one of the local shitty hotels, bypass the crappy coffee and make your way here. it's worth the extra couple of miles. When I went there tried to redeem my free drink on my card and they threw my card away and charged me anyway when I tried to ask for my free drink the drive thru guy just ignored me or shut the window on me had to ask for my card back but still didn't get to ask him about the free drink just shut the window on me he was very rude I hope next time I come thru is a better experience read more
