Split happen in Lincolnton

This place is a must! They are sometimes really busy but it's worth the wait. About $9 per milkshake, they have a bunch of flavors. We will definitely be back!! Pro tip-- they also let you keep the mason jar! They have lids and bags at the front to put it in so you don't make a mess on the way home!

Delicious ice cream with all the toppings. A must stop if you are in Lincolnton, NC. The kids were friendly and plenty of room.

A friendly young woman greeted us and prepared our bowls with care, walking us down the options without rushing. Mrs. K. chose a rice base topped with a sweet and spicy sauce that struck a lovely balance. I went with greens and a spicy avocado sauce that added just the right kick without overwhelming the freshness of the ingredients. Both bowls were vibrant, well-portioned, and reasonably priced at $14, though there is a $2 upcharge for surimi and for masago, which is worth noting if you're customizing your bowl with extras. The restaurant itself was spotless. The assembly line looked well maintained, with ingredients neatly arranged and everything moving smoothly. It's a small detail, but it speaks to the pride they take in their setup and the consistency they aim to deliver. As a pescatarian, Mrs. K. has a soft spot for poke, and this spot hit the mark. I have no doubt we'll be back--probably sooner than later. [Review 1312 of 2025 - 4446 in North Carolina - 24864 overall]

Everything looked fresh and tasty that was in the display for you to choose. The lady who helped us knew the products and answered all my questions. The picnic tables were a little dirty so we decide to eat at the tables closer to the window. My bowl was good and very light. I was extremely hungry after eating it. I think the protein size should have been a little bit more for the price. If you look for a light light option here you got. It was OK.

A Familiar Craving That Fell a Little Short This Time…read more This review is for L&L Hawaiian Barbecue, and I wish I were writing it with more enthusiasm because I've had good experiences here before. This was probably my third or fourth visit, and I came in craving Hawaiian barbecue--specifically the grill and seafood mix with kalbi short ribs and fried shrimp, something I've ordered many times at other L&L locations, including the one in downtown San Mateo. I arrived around 4:00-4:30 in the afternoon, and there was no one behind the counter. They have a self-order kiosk, which I tried to use, but it was a little clunky and frustrating. Eventually, an employee came out, and I asked if I could just order directly. I requested the combo with only short ribs and shrimp--no fish. He had to check with the chef, which felt unusual since that substitution has never been an issue before, but eventually it was approved. The pineapple coconut smoothie, by the way, was delicious--sweet, cold, and exactly what I needed on a hot day. No complaints there at all. Where things fell short was the portion and overall value. When I got home and took a closer look, there were only six small pieces of shrimp and just one piece of kalbi short rib. Normally, you get two. That difference matters, especially when you've made a 20-minute drive with a certain expectation based on past visits. The flavor was still good. The food tasted like L&L, and the condiments were right--tartar sauce included, which I appreciated. But small details add up. There were no napkins or utensils in the bag, and the portion felt noticeably lighter than what I've received before. To be fair, part of this is on me--I should have double-checked the contents more carefully before leaving. Still, consistency is important, especially when customers return because they remember a reliable experience. I'm not writing this to discourage anyone. There's a whole world of good food out there, and this place can absolutely be part of it. I just hope the team pays closer attention to portions and those small touches that make the experience feel complete. Because when it's done right, L&L really does hit the spot.

Perfectly seasoned rice, wrapped in fresh nori, topped with savory, flavorful spam that's cooked just right. YUM The dining area is spotless, the counters are tidy, and everything feels organized and cared for. That level of cleanliness shows pride -- and it makes a difference. The staff greets you with warm smiles, take the time to answer questions, and make sure your order is exactly how you want it. I want to try the whole menu and can't wait to come back

Went with the Cookie Monster and oh my lord, it was delicious. Also pretty cool that it's vegan. While I myself am not vegan, it's good to have options out there for those that are. A few things to note: The coffee wasn't anything special, still good, but honestly coffee isn't the reason I stopped here. Staff was quite pleasant & friendly, as always I appreciate that. Parking is pretty tight in the front but there's plenty of room around the back Overall a good experience, definitely gonna try some more options there.

My family was grieving the lost of our pet and decided to stop in for some comfort food while out running errands. We got 3 of the cinnamon rolls. We got the Caramel Apple Pie Roll, the Blueberry Pie Roll and the Grinch Roll. I sampled all of the cinnamon rolls. I wouldn't say that I had a favorite. They were all satisfactory but they left me with an odd taste in my mouth. They were sweet and aesthetically pleasing but I probably wouldn't order them again. I felt like they were a bit over priced and didn't give me the wow factor I was expecting. I hate to say this but we never finished any of the rolls and I feel like they went in the fridge and were never finished but trashed after a couple days. Overall I'm glad I gave them a try but won't be back. Cinnaholic 6461 Old Monroe Rd Ste F Indian Trail, NC 28079 Saturday December 19, 2020 11:45am (Review 476 overall, 20 of 2021)

We saw that they opened at four so we were there right at 4 PM. The door was locked and within a few minutes, somebody came and opened the door, but he was there to set up for a poker event that was happening. The owner/bartender was not even there. So after about 15 minutes, he finally shows up and is not even ready to start Buisness. We wanted to order some cocktails and sit on the rooftop bar and enjoy the view. One person ordered a beer and his keg was not even ready. He finally goes upstairs. Brings one down and tries to pour the beer and it was 77 degree beer, who wants that! A few of us started ordering cocktails from the menu not all of us even got our drinks and some of the others were watered down. My husband went to Pay the bill and we were overcharged! Paid almost $100 for crappy drinks and service! The trash cans were still full from night before too!! When we walked out to leave the poker guy met us outside to tell us we're not the first to complain and the owner has issues. He should not be in business.
