Scoobi Doo's was highly recommended to us for our little Shih Tzu. My friend said Sarah was the best!!! I have called the business several times but no one answers the phone. The message tells us to text a different number to schedule an appointment and I did that several times as well. I specifcally left a voicemail for Sarah and still no response. I am disappointed and confused as to how one actually makes an appointment at this place. If anyone can offer some advise, it would certainly be appreciated. My fur baby needs a groomer! read more

We have been bringing our dogs to Scoobi-Doo's for years. We had a beagle, Skipper, and now bring our 1.5 year old puppy Golden Retriever to the salon. I know that Sue and her team care about our fur babies and that they will be treated well. We highly recommend Scoobi Doo's for your pet grooming needs. They also have self wash stations if you just need somewhere to bathe your dog. read more

I was looking for a groomer in town after our shop moved and I've always heard good things about Scoobie Doo's. They were quick to reach back out via text after I had left a voicemail. And they were able to get us in within that month. We dropped our dog off and she gave him a full groom in two hours and was ready to be picked up. I was very impressed! She did a fantastic job with him. Our pup can be a little nervous around his legs and paws but you would never know. We've tried different places in town over the last few years and he definitely looks great. Thank you! read more

This was my first experience with Scoobi Doo. Today I was scheduled to have an appt at 1:30pm and I messaged and asked if they had any morning cancellations and she (I'm assuming the owner ) said bring her now and we can cut her nails. I thought great ! When we arrived there was no one in the front lobby ,the staff in the back was not very friendly or welcoming to us . They seemed very confused why we were there. They kept looking at us but not saying anything to us. Next thing I knew a lady came in which I can only assume she was the owner. She was very kind. When she took my pup back she asked if I could help with the dog. Now I paid 30.00 dollars for an appt that took less than 10 minutes and I helped with holding the dog so she could do it. 30 dollars is high and especially when I helped do half the work . Unfortunately even though I was accommodated with earlier time, the staff and the amount charged seemed like to much. read more

Tried this place for the first time last month, had them shave my Saint Bernard. I really like this place! They're really good at staying in communication with their clients, or should I say, their client's owner's!! Very good at calling/texting back, their prices are fair, and it's so cute in there. I will be coming back very soon, I love that there's a gate when you enter that only opens in, so that no puppers can run out on accident! And I love that they have you walk to the back, really proves that they're not hiding anything or doing anything shady, like other groomers. Not to mention, when you're there, the lady is so nice! Which is a plus if it's your first time going and you're nervous, like I was. I will be returning and be using their services very often. 10/10 I do recommend read more

OMGosh! Took my messy, matted Australian Shepherd Grace in this morning for grooming. I really didn't expect a lot but was hoping the could just clean her up a bit since I know how unruly ( my fault) she can be. They called me in less than 2 hrs . When I went to pick her up I was STUNNED! She's beautiful! Clean, nails done, mats out and bum shaved perfectly, all for a VERY reasonable price. Tiffany said she was a bit antsy but did ok. I'm hoping they will have her back because I would take her there every 4 weeks. Love the place, clean, organized, and if all the staff is like Tiffany, they have an A+++ operation! read more

Its quite nice for an owner to respond to a review written about their business. Thank you. Just to clear the air; I've never been dissatisfied with the quality of work performed at your shop. I am however, quite shocked at the price charged for services. Each time I go, it's a different price; always climbing higher.... read more

Just a brief update. In case you're not aware (because there is no signage indicating this), Scoobi Doo's is under New Management. Based on my visit last week, this is not a good thing. Appointments now take 4 hours. IMO, that's just too long. Ever since the incident at Petco I want my pups left for as short a period of time as possible. When I picked up my dog I asked why it took so long. I was told that they take in several dogs at one time, bathe them all, then move on to grooming them all. I'm not a dog groomer, but that process doesn't make sense to me. Previously I was told to come back in 2 hours. When I dropped off my long-hair Dachshund-mix I was asked what I wanted done/how I wanted her clipped. I told the gal "just a light trim, bath & nails." When I picked her up she'd been shaved down, not trimmed, and there were still small 'snarls' in her long ear hair. When I asked why she'd been shaved down I was told "Oh, she just does what she wants." Ok... good to know. Wow. And the prices have gone up. read more

Never again. What a rip off. My dog is practically the easiest to wash and the worst at getting his nails clipped. The sweet lady in the back said we can try together and so we did. He made his usual super dramatic whining and the other workers there started criticizing and the owner forced us to stop with one paw left. No one wants to hear a super dramatic dog but I don't appreciate being criticized, charged, and then when I put him in the car he was not even brushed out. Such a rip off! read more

Took my little Morkie here and they were really nice and did a great job at a more then fair price.

I hesitated to book here because they were so busy ! While yes, it is a good sign it can be hard for me to book things in advance sometimes. They have made themselves totally worth it. I have had the pleasure of Robyn, the owner, grooming Buddy both times and she is amazing! My previous groomer was rough with buddy and he became more paw sensitive. Robyn has been working with me to help desensitize him and has been remarkably patient with him. One day we will be able to cut his paws the way they should ‍ I had also managed to space the time(computer work does this to me) while buddy was getting groomed, Friday sept 1st right before Labor Day weekend and buddy was the last dog being groomed ! she stayed with Buddy and played ball with him while she waited and I rushed over after I saw I missed her call over an hour ago ‍ Thank you Robyn for your patience with both Buddy and me read more

Where to start, there is so much I could say regarding this grooming salon.. I have been to multiple groomers in my 10 years owning a Bichon Frisé, mistake number one for me! When I found Scoobi Doo's, I knew this was the perfect fit for us, starting with how our Bichon acted upon arrival. She was so happy (really SO happy)! Now, to the point when we say to her "we're going to see Sarah", she is more excited than asking her "wanna go for a walk?" no joke! Scoobi Doo's offer the best in grooming skills in the Northern Bay Area. From the multiple steps they take to assure the pet is super clean, to keeping the more inquisitive of our fur kids calm through the grooming process. They understand what is required to keep the kids looking their best, healthy, and true to their breeds cut if requested. It's amazing! When we have our spa date, our Bichon is pampered from start to finish by the very welcoming and friendly staff. The grooming quality is something you would see at a Best in Show competition. Seriously, our Bichon will cause people to stop, some in cars, and comment on how beautiful she is, some even take pictures! 9 out of 10 times they will ask "who grooms her" or "she must have just been groomed" even if she's 6 weeks out, because her lines are so precise! It's really quite flattering to both us as her owners, and her being a Bichon, that thrives on attention! In the end, the fee's for this service are so reasonable (judging partly on past experiences with other grooming companies), I enjoy adding what I feel is fair in gratuity. Scoobi Doo's hard working staff enjoy it, and we do too as customers. So, long story short, make Scoobi Doo's your One Stop Salon for your Doggie Day Spa Date. The experience is fabulous! read more

The staff a lovely and consistently adored by our mutt. The price for a wash (and nails and several other things) is not unreasonable but a little on the high side at $32 (otherwise I'd give 5 stars). But they do a good job and my dog isn't freaked out like when I try to clip her nails. We come here every couple months to save the trouble of washing our pup at home and to get her nails clipped. They can get pretty busy so it's important to call ahead for appointments and to see what the wait time will be (usually 1-2 hours from arrival to pick up - they'll call you when they're done). Those with sensitive noses (or worried about your pup's strong sense of smell) may want to request a no-fragrance wash because the standard mix results in our pooch coming home a bit perfumed. Overall it's excellent service at a reasonable (but not low) price. read more

Ashely does a great job with my 4 Pomeranians. They always come back soooo shiny, silky and fluffy, with their paws very dainty and tidy. She recently gave them haircuts and they look FABULOUS! It's the shortest their hair has ever been and was a bit of a shock at first, but after a few days I adjusted, and now I can't believe how gorgeous they look. I have my puppy groomed here and they're really great and take fantastic care of her. She's a maltese with a puppy cut so I have to go in once a month or so. She doesn't like going...but I don't hold that against them :) They also do self-wash if you're able to do that. One reason I ended up giong to them is because I tried calling about 5 other companies in Napa and not one called me back!!! I'm pretty glad about that now. read more

Like others I have been disappointed with the recent service at this place. I've been taking my dog here for several years but the changes in ownership and staff have made it difficult to return and I now lack confidence that my dog is in good hands here. Today I arrived to find out the appointment for my dog was not on the books and I was not the only customer to encounter this problem. They graciously agreed to take my dog anyway. When I arrived to pick up my dog she was whining and the girl at the desk and the groomer sitting in the room were far from pleasant. They seemed like they hate their jobs. No pleasantries whatsoever. I merely mentioned that the grooming wasn't exactly as I requested and the girl at the desk rolled her eyes and sighed. I tipped $30 anyway and left. When I returned minutes later to make the next appointment I merely mentioned that because my dog hadn't been trimmed enough I needed the next appointment earlier, the groomer proceeded to argue with me about whether she had followed my request. I wasn't there to argue with her but she wouldn't let up. This behavior was so annoying I decided to find somewhere else. I don't want someone like that grooming my dog. read more

Scoobi-Doos was really great. It was very clean & didn't have that overwhelming smell of wet dog. Out of the times I've been there they have always been super fast, under 2.5 hours & my Morkie is done. They are also very careful when they groom her & she doesn't seem stressed whenever I pick her up. There kennels are placed in plain view of the door/outside & not tucked away hidden in the back. Other groomers I have been too I can walk in & hear my dog whining & barking. At Scoobi-Doo's I have never walked in & have heard a peep out of her. The only negative I have to say is the staff can give very judgmental looks. My husband asked to have our dog shaved to about 1/4". When we picked her up 3 of the staff members where standing there & giving me a lecture on putting a sweater on my dog & how cold it is...I got pretty nasty looks that made me feel very uncomfortable. People judge before they know. They could have asked why we wanted the hair short & we would have gladly told them we frequent Palm Springs & are heading down there. 100+ weather is justification to have a short hair cut. read more

I have seriously debated writing a review but after reading that others had the same issues that I did, I am. First of all, when I called, I was quoted $55 to groom my Chinese Crested Hairless. I was also told that the groomer did all kinds of dogs and wouldn't have a problem with mine. When they called to tell me she was ready, I wanted to confirm that the price was $55 because I sent my husband to pick her up. The lady told me, no. The prices START at $70 (which seems ridiculous to me). She wanted to know who gave me that price and I told her whoever booked the appointment. She told me she would honor it this time. When I'd dropped her off, I spoke with the groomer and told her exactly what needed to be done. I was very specific about NOT cutting the hair on her ears. Well, when we picked her up, they'd shaved her ear hair. Where she is supposed to be Hairless, she is not. There is still hair there. I've been grooming her myself for years and have had her groomed before that, by someone knowledgeable and it has always been shaved to the skin in those places. Her hair is also very uneven in places. I know that she wasn't any trouble because they told my husband. They said she was very well behaved (she just is that kind of dog), so I don't think that's why they didn't do a very good job. One more thing. When my husband went to pick her up, there was someone in front of him talking about how she should have her dogs hair cut. Our dog was crying for him because she could see him. The lady was going on and on and made a comment about our dog crying. My husband said that was because she saw him. They still kept talking instead of retrieving our dog for us. I hate to post a negative review. The only reason I did give them 2 stars instead of one though is because they were nice to me. read more

Friendly staff. Very knowledgeable. Clean facilities - didn't smell like wet dog. Very willing to work with your schedule.

No one at the front I had to walk half way through the business to talk to a groomer who didn't greet me as she was busy with a dog but allowed me to put my dog in a Kennel at 10 minutes to 1. At 3:45 the groomer called and said she was busy doing her own dogs and this is why they were just getting to my dog. However she said my dog didn't like the groomer and I would need to pick her up without being groomed. So basically my dog sat for nearly three hours in a kennel with no attention. I drove down, again no one at the front desk, no one spoke to me as I walked to the back of the business to remove her from the kennel that I had put he in three hours before! Then they have the audacity to text me saying I should find a new groomer. Clearly they are incompetent, customer unfriendly and need to stick to tea cup size dogs as my 40lb dog was too much for them. They said my dog was aggressive and "acted" if she might bite. My dog is not aggressive and has never bitten anyone. They are not to be trusted. I know understand why they can't keep groomers on staff. They probably treat them like they did my dog! read more

Rudest and most UNPROFESSIONAL person ever! Made an appointment on the 26th of June. Called to confirm 2 days before and she told me she didn't have me on the books, then calls me the day of the appointment and says she does in fact have me but until the end of the next month. I can see in between lies and when i told her it was ok she hangs up. RUDE is the least offensive adjective that comes to mind. Be careful with who you trust your time with. Disappointed. My Pomeranian was there for 3 hours and came back looking like nothing was done. Her hair felt soft but she didn't smell very good. Refused to pay full price because I could have washed her myself. I brought my dog in and by far the worst hair cut she has ever had! When I came to the appointment the lady said she would have to cut her ears down because of knots( other groomers take the time to brush her ears out) they cut the ears down but left bald spots behind both ears the the front of her face was completely butchered. The front of her hair is so uneven! The right side is way longer then the left and her ears are also uneven. They cut so close to her eyes that they are so irritated now! I could have done a better job myself and saved the money! We have family pictures next week and extremely disappointed with their service! I was charged $67 when i called back to say i was not happy with her haircut. The girl i spoke to was the one that cut her hair and offered to "fix" it. When I told her no because I didn't trust her to fix her haircut she should have done it right the first time. I should have been refunded my money for this terrible haircut but not once did she offer to refund me. She simply hung up when I told her I'd never be back there again. read more
