My dog loves coming for her monthly haircut! The owner does all of the grooming, and is very nice! I would highly recommend Bella's!

Like others here I've been TRYING to speak to someone about getting my two dogs groomed here. They never called back when they were along El Cento and I'm finding the same now that they're along Solano Avenue. I left a message on Friday, and despite their being open Friday & Saturday, I got no call back. I now see that they're CLOSED Sunday, Monday And Tuesday. So, *maybe I'll hear from them tomorrow in response to my 2nd message? She does stress in her voicemail recording that she'll call back at HER convenience. Not holding out much hope. read more

This was a very disappointing experience. First of all I had a hard time getting an appointment. Then when I finally did, the owner was Unsmiling and abrupt. Showed zero compassion. When I picked up my dog she made a disparaging remark. Once I got my dog home he obviously still had dog smell, his ears had not been done, and his paws were haphazardly trimmed. I needed to get my dog's terrifyingly long nails cut and this place was the closest to my house. My friend needed to get his dog groomed as well. As we walked up to the front of the building we saw the sign saying "by appointment only" but figured we'd try anyways. Sarah was extremely pleasant and seemed very professional. She trimmed my dog's nails as well as my friend's dog's in under 3 minutes and was very friendly to them too. She set up an appt. for my friend to come back the following day even on such short notice.I can appreciate a business and it's owner that is as professional as this one. read more

I've tried a few groomers for my tiny maltipoo with a puppy cut and not one of them could compare to Bella's. The shop is clean and quaint. My dog Cammi always comes home happy and looking perfect. Sarah is the best. read more

Sara is awesome!! My Hannah loves her! Sara does a great job, she is so sweet and friendly. I have two dogs, I only get my terrier mix done three times a year, Isabella, has been cut by two other groomers here in Napa. Isabella hadn't been to a groomer since she was cut in three places, on her body. When she went for the first time since her trauma, she was so scared. Sara was wonderful, she took her time with my Isabella and kept giving her breaks, then the next time I took her to have Sara groom her, Isabella was so much more calm! I am so happy I found a good groomer again, I think I have been to just about every groomer in Napa, since my Isabella got cut ( they didn't even have the decency to tell me) and I finally found the one I have been looking for! read more

I am so happy to have found Bella's Dog Grooming. Sara was friendly on the phone and I was able to make an appomtment for my golden doodle for a few days later. I dropped my doodle off at the agreed time and she was ready in two hours. The cut was perfect, her nails were trimmed and my dog was calm (at least as calm as a young doodle can be!). I couldn't be happier and I'll be back soon with my other golden doodle. Just a heads up: she doesn't take credit cards. read more

The customer service at Bella's was great - I called in and made an appointment for a grooming for the next day and the woman was super nice. However, this review is for the cut, which I hate to say, but it was one of the worst cuts we've had on our 5 year old dog! We have a larger 60-70 lb white doodle, and the cut was extremely uneven all over her back, stomach and paws, so much so she looked like she had stripes. They also forgot to cut the hair on her paws/on top and did not get the mats behind her ears. Disappointing :/ but again, the groomer was extremely nice and quick to get us in. We love Sarah! Her dog grooming is super and she is so kind to the dogs. Our two standard poodles, Jax and Jinx, love going to see her. They try to run in her door when they realize we are in her parking lot. Neat, clean, loving environment. I can't believe anyone would give a bad review of this excellent business! read more

I will not go back. I had by chow done first, she did an ok job but did not brush her out enough as she has a super thick coat and she did not clean up knots on her underside. Then I took in my older dog, another medium size dog. I warned her she was older as I didn't want her arthritis to flair up. She did not clean up the feathering on her legs or shape her feet, she did a lousy job on her back end and did not cut her nails then she had the audacity to charge me full price for a half - - - job. I called to set up an appointment to get my dog groomed over a week ago, left a message on their voice mail and still haven't heard back. I tried a few years ago, too, and had the same thing happen. So, much for second chances! read more

Sara has been cutting my dogs since she worked at another place(that went downhill after she left) and that has been longer than we both would like to admit (20+ years). I would not take my dogs to anyone else. God forbid if she was to close tomorrow I would either have to learn how to cut Cocker Spaniels or I would have the hairiest dogs in the world because no one else would touch them but Sara. She is sweet, kind and gentle with all the dogs under her care and I know this because my dogs never balk at the door and they go right in without a problem so she has to be doing something right and with my female Cocker that is saying something.(she can be a little snarky at times, my dog not Sara.) And I notice some people complaining about not being able to get in for an appointment and that is because she is so good at what she does and how great the dogs look when she is done she is booked all the time because she is the best at what she does in town, the BEST! We absolutely adore this young woman and the job she does with my precious dogs. read more

We LOVE Sarah and her dog grooming business at Bella's. We have two labradoodles, and we tried at least 5 other groomers in Napa before finding Sarah. As opposed to the other groomers we did not like, Sarah's shop is super clean, she gives our dogs great cuts, she only takes a few dogs at a time, so it's a calm, quiet environment, and she has NEVER cut our dogs, which is a far cry from two other groomers in Napa. And, incredibly, when we pull up to her shop, my dogs hop out of the back of the car and run straight into her shop, tails wagging. One of my dogs has a special crate in her shop that he considers to be his crate and he cries if she doesn't put him in it. And, she's an awfully nice person to boot! The only potential difficulty is that she has a lot of clients and cannot always pick up the phone or return calls. So, if you want to have your dog groomed there, I would recommend that you stop by in person during business hours and make an appointment. It will be worth the trip 100%! read more
