They did a great job! Also, they said to let them know if there was anything I didn't like, and they would fix it, but that was not necessary. read more

New to town and my 2 fur babies needed to find a new groomer. We got right in and they loved Dog World (Benny even wanted to have another bath!) we'll be back! read more

Highly recommend. Very kind and gentle with my highly anxious Shih Tzu. His Trim job turned out very handsome.

I am a first time pawmom of a 8 month old labradoodle. Been searching high and low for a place that specializes in "teddy bear" poodle especially labradoodle haircut. I brought my dog to a few other places and disasterous. Her haircut was always so choppy. I have taken my Rumi here twice so far and Everytime she came out perfect!!!!! She looks so darn cute. Her nails are trimmed, her private is also trimmed and nice. They really take time with her. Her coat is so fluffy. Just darling. The price is more than fair. I can't recommend this place enough. Michelle just does an amazing job every time. Even though I moved away, I will always drive back to Napa so my Rumi can get her haircut from Dog World. Thank you for making my girl even prettier than she is. read more

I have been going to Dog World for over 18 years. Michelle and her crew are wonderful. My dogs always come home looking perfect. The main thing is that my dogs are cared for and treated well while they are at Dog World which makes me feel good. Thank you everyone at Dog World Have a great day. read more

Now I know where Jessica's bad attitude comes from. The owner could not have known that I yelled at or threatened Jessica. Michelle does not know this was the second time Jessica lectured me and talked to me like I was two years old. You ladies need to find happiness. I would not trust you with Teddy. There truly is a shortage of dog groomers in Napa. read more

Jessica and Michelle of Dog World are both efficient, helpful with dog owner's needs and requests and friendly. The business is always so busy, that it is always hopping. I have appreciated and admired the grooming that Michelle accomplishes... especially with a fidgety Shih Tzu, who does not allow anyone to touch his face. I have been at the counter and witnessed customers upset on the phone where if they do not get in immediately, they tend to be upset. It is very hard to run a dog grooming business. I, for one, am very pleased with how they consistently groom my pup and also how they treat me. I have been to other groomers and have been disappointed. I'm glad I found a great place to take care of my requests. I highly recommend Dog World groomers. read more

We brought our two dogs back to Michelle & Dog World today. My gosh what a fabulous haircut. We had been gone for a while and tried other groomers. What a mistake for leaving. We had been with Michelle for 20 + years. What caused us to leave is not important. What is, we are back. They are so professional in the grooming process. They pay attention to all the details. Thank you, Michelle and staff. You did a fantastic job. Thank you, Jerry, Linda, Elsie & Ella. read more

We have taken our two dogs here for years, but not anymore. My mom picked up our dog today and she was covered in blood. They shaved her so close to the skin, that she has razor burn behind her ears, face and chest. One of her back legs wasn't cut. They offered to pay the vet bill if it came to that. Absolutely terrible. read more

Satisfied! I called to get my dog's nails clipped and said the sooner I came the better. I was there in 5 min. The nice employee (most likely owner) clipped them within 5 minutes even though my dog was a little antsy and jumpity with it. I appreciated her patience. I was more stressed than my dog. There were many "clients" being serviced which is a good sign the this business is legit. I will not hesitate bringing my dog there again for a nail clipping. read more

Both my dogs like it here! They are quick and able to get us in without too much of a crazy wait.

The women who work here really know their stuff. They are always very nice. At another groomer mut dogs would act scared to go in and one time my mini golden doodle came home to me with shave burns. NOT HERE THEY ARE GOOD TO GO IN AND COME OUT LOOKING AND SMELLING SO NICE. One other thing I appreciate is that they listen to you when you have a request. I am very happy with them. read more

They always do such a great job on my dog. He always looks perfect when I pick him up. Would give 5 stars based on what a good job they do but lobby needs a good clean/freshening up. read more

I took my dog in for a grooming appointment. I asked for a puppy cut and when it was time to pick her up my sister went in my place due to an appointment I had. I asked for a puppy cut and instead I came home to an almost bald dog. This is not what I requested. She looks like a whole different dog. I paid $60 dollars for this. It's so uneven. I could've done this myself at home. Very unprofessional of them to do this without my consent. read more

Dog World - Pet Groomers Near Me - Napa, California

Love the girls here! My dog always gets the best treatment and they have the best customer service. Very accommodating when it comes to scheduling (I work until 5 and Michelle stays late!) We will not go anywhere else in Napa! read more

Wow! A solid 10 with my first visit at Dog World. We have a 140lb Blood Hound we took in to get Groomed. "Priceless" Good job!!!

I have been going to Dog World since 1990 when I moved to Napa. Michelle, Jessica and everyone there have been absolutely wonderful! I had my 2 senior mini Schnauzers there today, and they came back looking and smelling fantastic! thank you for the great service!!! read more

Horrible experience! I left my dog with them for 4.5 hours and he still wasn't done. I decided to bring him home anyway unfinished. He immediately went outside to potty and drank a lot of water. The woman I dealt with was extremely rude and defensive. At one point I was worried she may have mistreated my dog. read more

Michelle and the staff at Dog World have always been so kind and helpful. We have been taking our dogs there for nearly 20 years and have been so pleased with the grooming results and with everyone there. I will have to stop recommending them to every dog owner I meet because they are so popular it's difficult to get an appointment these days! Good Job Michelle, Jessica and staff!! read more

Customer service was horrible. Extremely rude and unhelpful, never going again and would not recommend.

The lady at the counter was very nice & asked how I wanted my dog to be groomed & didn't try to put their opinion on how they wanted my dog cut. When I got my pup she was so beautiful & everything looked great. I could tell the groomers knew what they were doing because they were attentive enough to catch on that my dog began biting her leg hair a little. I have also inspected my dog and found no knicks or cuts on her which is a huge relief. They were very affordable too. Charged a good price without jacking up the price for froo froo apple scented shampoo & what not. I will be going back to Dog World as my primary choice of dog grooming in Napa. CASH ONLY!! So bring cash :) read more

The first time I took my dog there I wasn't very impressed. Unfortunately affordable groomers are scarce in this town and it being the holidays, they were also booked. I decided to give Dog World one more try. Unfortunately I am more disappointed this time than the last. Looks like they did a hack job on my fur baby. Her coat (which I asked them to shave down short) is different lengths and just looks like they shaved her down in 5 minutes with zero attention to detail. Bald patches on some of her coat. I could have done this bad of a job at home. Needless to say, I won't be back! read more

Our pup has been here at least 3 times. She's comfortable when we take her in, gets a great grooming and she's happy when we pick her up.

Took my dog to have her claws clipped and anal glands expressed as my regular groomer, Tails of the City, is apparently no longer in business. They charged me twice as much as Tails used to ($30 vs $15) and the shop was FILTHY. Appallingly filthy. The woman at the counter was nice but that's just not good enough. I will never be back. Yuck. read more

They're great - always good with my dog. I just wish they would return my phone calls. Sometimes, I want to make an appointment by phone - even during business hours, and every single time I leave a message, I never get a return call. Often I have to go there myself to make an appointment (I work nearby, but still). read more

We've used dog world for our little dogs for years and they always come home so beautiful and happy!! The staff is always so nice and super sweet with animals. From what I've seen, the dogs aren't stuffed in cramped cages while they wait for their owners to pick them up. I always feel comfortable dropping off my pup. They really take care of them. Plus they call you as soon as your dog is all finished so they're not waiting there for a long time read more

Michelle and the staff at Dog World are fantastic. We've been going to Dog World for over 11 years. They do a great job with the grooming, are very loving with our dogs and are very reasonably priced. They always are finished on time and the dogs look great. I could not recommend any other groomer more highly. read more

Very small salon next to a pizza place. Nothing fancy. If you want a more luxurious experience expect to pay almost double elsewhere. I usually come here when I'm desperate for my dog to get a hair cut and every place is booked and I'm in a rush. I have a Shih Tzu mix and they don't cut his hair in the cutest way (one star down for that) so I take him when he needs more of like a short cut during summer. Probably a better place for shorter hair breeds. Nice ladies in an odd location that get the job done for an okay price (~$45ish). And yea they don't really pick up the phone so one star down for that too. read more

This place is the best of you want your precious dog well cared for by a loving staff. I have been taking my dogs to Dog World for well over 20 years. They always inform me if they find a growth or if they think something is not right. My dog is always happy to go get a great groom. The facility is older but I don't mind as long as my precious dog is well taken care of. I have an Australian Shepard so she has a long coat that takes special grooming. I wouldn't take my dogs any where else. read more

My dog needed a flea bath and yet there were even more fleas on him afterwards. He also got a haircut but there were multiple spots that were uneven. Not happy with the service at all. read more

Took our border collie to get groomed and upon walking in, noticed the place was absolutely filthy. Disgusting and not acceptable for a dog grooming business. Picked our dog up immediately and will not go back. read more

Love taking my dogs to DOG WORLD!! They are gentle with all animals!! My dog was sprayed by a skunk and they got the smell out. I recommend your animals going her to get clean and beautified!!! read more

I took my dogs to a couple other groomers first, but settled on DogWorld after their first visit there. The staff are really friendly and really love dogs. My dogs come home looking better and much less stressed than when I took them to the other places. Plus the price is very reasonable. Highly recommend. read more

I have used this groomer for years with both a standard poodle and my golden-doodle and they are terrific for a decent price. They ask if I want anything different or special each time and follow directions. They have also informed me of ear infection I would not have noticed otherwise. Always friendly and they work fast in the office section so I'm in and out in a flash. Good job! I recommend them highly although be prepared...they are not fancy. They are no nonsense and I appreciate that. read more

This groomed took care of my daughter's pet quickly and efficiently. Staff was very helpful and cheerful.

was very disappointed in Dog World, I am new to the area. Very unfriendly, didn't cut my dogs as requested, I had to trim them up more when I got home. Their place needs to be cleaned, it was very dirty! So I am back at trying to find a good groomer for my babies! read more

I recently moved to napa and I had to bring my bichon frise to this shop. As soon as I walked in I was hesitant to even hand my dog over due to the fact that this place is filthy! After my internal fight to hand over my dog I reluctantly gave in. When I came back (told to 4.5 HOURS LATER) to pick her up she was so shaken and her nails weren't properly cut and her face was completely shaven. Lets just say I'm never going back. read more
