The owner is a very friendly and stylish guy himself. He would only employ the top hairdressers in the area. I think James who often cuts my hair has worked for places like Toni and Guy in Bristol. Not that it really matters but the staff certainly know what they are doing. For a wash and cut you pay 25 pounds, for highlights, cut and wash you pay 40 pounds. I like a classical sort of bob and James puts hairstraighteners through my hair if I want it. They use Paul Mitchell shampoo now which I like. It is a very friendly atmosphere. I walked in with one of the worst hair days of my life and walked out (for £12) ready for my travels. Considering it is difficult finding a good haircut or color anywhere without paying ridiculous prices, this place is almost worth the plane ticket from London :-)

Yvonne put me at ease immediately and she gave me great advice. You know you are in safe hands when the hairdresser's own hair is stunning :) . Yvonne gave me a fabulous hair cut and I made a forward booking for before Christmas. Her salon is tucked away in the middle of the village and benefits from easy parking as well as lovely views so the whole experience was very relaxing. Yvonne's charges are very reasonable and she caters for all kinds of styles and ages. She also does home visits for customers not able to get out and about.
