The owner is a very friendly and stylish guy himself. He would only employ the top hairdressers in the area. I think James who often cuts my hair has worked for places like Toni and Guy in Bristol. Not that it really matters but the staff certainly know what they are doing. For a wash and cut you pay 25 pounds, for highlights, cut and wash you pay 40 pounds. I like a classical sort of bob and James puts hairstraighteners through my hair if I want it. They use Paul Mitchell shampoo now which I like. It is a very friendly atmosphere. Made app. on Monday 22nd June for Friday @12.30. as we had a very important function to attend. Arr few mins early, lovely girl on reception said she would inform Henry who was free, that I was there. Took seat on leather sofa, with 2 other ladies waiting. My stylist was near top of stairs, so I and others in shop able to hear what he had to say. He had not had lunch.. he stomped down stairs, was extreemly rude, enquired when I last had a cut !!! Few weeks ago. Was it any good !!! ??? WHO recomended him !!! HIS BOSS, and HE did not do blowdries !!! The receptionest said she would try and find somebody else, and a young guy who works there seen how upset I was & offered me a glass of water. A hankie would have been better, I left. A bit on the expensive side (for Aberystwyth) but definately the best. Of the three or four hairdressers I've used in Aber this was easily my favourite and I was really pleased with the results, especially since my request was - 'just cut some off and do something nice with it!'
