I was charged $70 including tip (I was being nice) She cut my hair at a 1 after she was done she asked me if I liked it and I was hesitant so I asked my partner to come take a look, I usually get it at .5 and I asked if she could and she said that if I did it that low I'd look bald (though I always get it faded into a .5 ) but I didn't press it because it seems like she didn't have experience in an undercut. At the end I was charged for the " THE TEN YEAR" which is $54+ And includes a full-service haircut and style, Cleansing shampoo and conditioning treatment, Rejuvenating steamed towel treatment and back of neck razor shave. I received nothing but the cut, not to mention she was 30 minutes late to my scheduled appointment. I went back in after seeing the charges (I was in full convo and distracted by the bar tender) and was told I can't get a refund until the next day when the manager is back, I called the next day and they gave me an excuse that the manager is out on vacation, I never received a refund for my overpayment and I will never go back again. read more

Got the 10 yr service and overall had a nice experience! I wanted a relatively simple cut and Alex M did a great job! I showed a picture of what I wanted and he asked some questions to make sure that we were on the same page about the hairstyle I was going for and how I want my hair to be styled, how I usually do my hair, how I maintain my hair, etc. The drink selection was overall decent though nothing particularly special unless you pay an additional cost for the better spirits. I'd come again if I wanted a nicer haircut before an event, though at its current price point I wouldn't personally go regularly. read more

I've visited this shop a few times and have had haircuts from three different stylists. Most recently, I had an appointment with Nina. Unfortunately, the experience felt rushed from the start. I tried to explain that I wanted a fade starting from a 0 and gradually blending up in a natural way, but Nina quickly said she "had me" and began cutting without much discussion. She used only clippers throughout the entire cut, including for shaping, and never incorporated scissors. The result didn't look naturally blended at all. I was surprised when she indicated she was finished, especially since the cut looked incomplete. I asked her to go shorter because the hard part she drew looked like a single, harsh line that didn't match the natural shape of my head. I wanted to speak up more, but I felt rushed and, honestly, unimportant. One of the things I enjoy about getting a haircut is relaxing, maybe having a drink, and leaving with a style that feels clean and intentional. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case here. I've been twice. Did the 10 yr the first time and 25 yr service the second time. The vibe/experience is not as high-end as the decor and prices would lead you to expect. Definitely has a chain feel to the service and experience. I would rate the parts of my 25 yr service as follows: - Cut/Style = excellent - Shampoo / condition = mediocre - Hot face towel = good - Scalp massage = mediocre - Shoulder / neck massage = mediocre - Face refresher (facial) = excellent - Parafin hand dip and massage = excellent - Free drink = good - nice bonus My main reason for the mediocre ratings on the massage elements and shampoo is that they are really brief and too light (pressure) to really be relaxing. If it were half the price, my rating would be higher, but for $100 + tip, it lacks a bit for me. read more

I've been here twice. Was recommended to here. Overally it was a great experience. Sergio did a good job the first time, on the second followup it was alittle rough on the underbeard. Got me knicked pretty good, but was open about it. I have no issue with that. I have some pretty fierce coarse beard hair. My schedule got insanely busy and I haven't been back in 2 months now. I got an email about them raising their prices, which the prices are already pretty high. Not really a big motivator in coming back. As for their cocktail selection and how they make drinks. We came here after a bad quarantine hair cut grew out after seeing the location while walking through the Grandscape area. This place is CUTE and has a great atmosphere. The sitting/waiting area had a minimalist/manly design that I found very relaxing even though I wasn't getting my hair cut. The bar was low energy but I attribute that to the quarantine and restrictions related to it. Otherwise, the bar was beautiful and the complimentary drink made for my husband was delicious! The hair cut and grooming was just what my husband needed. It looks great and was obviously a huge improvement to what I had done for him! Amanda cut my hair. The complimentary whiskey selection was impressive. They have a scotch shelf and a bourbon shelf as well as a white liquor shelf. I had a super peaty Laphroaig which reminded me of my buddy from NY. Then I met Amanda who was super warm and comforting as a first timer. I got the 25 Year cut which was $64. I know...that sounds like a lot but listen to what you get! Over an hour of services including: Haircut Eyebrows trimmed Hot lather and Straight razor in the neck Shampoo head massage; conditioner head massage Hot towels Paraffin hand dip (oddly satisfying) A freaking facial! Hot towel Arm and hand massage I mean you get that and you're done! Like KO'd. It felt amazing. As a guy who works a stressful job I don't pamper myself. It was amazing. As for the haircut it was good. The fade was decent but I will say the zero was too low and too high. Extremely dissatisfied with my husbands haircut. I purchased him a haircut and beard trim in preparation for a gala we have this weekend and when he came home I was shocked. His neckline is crooked, the girl didn't clean his ears up at all and she left random beard hairs in trimmed on his neck. Well been a long time customer, from opening, until today. I had a 10 am appointment and was sick this morning and tried to call and leave a message at 8:37 and VM is full (really bad). I try texting...no response. Knowing how awful no shows are, I texted at 9:52 that would still rush in and make it. I get there and they tell me someone else booked by slot (somehow in that short of time) yet they NEVER confirmed the cancellation. I did get a text at 9;53 after already texted on my way like I am going to read a text whilst driving. I got a best tepid indifference when I arrived, no offer to reschedule, use another stylist, etc. Obviously they knew MUCH earlier and didn't even bother to confirm, text, or call. Hate leaving this place as liked Kim and Brooke but if a high-end men's salon is not going to disrespect customer time when the customer went out of his way, then no way I can patronage them. They offer true quality service, along with great drinks and a smile. I had Kristina and I couldn't recommend her enough. We had great conversation and even an even better haircut. Had 2 appointments. One with Rachel was great. She cut my sons hair and provided great service. I should have went with Rachel for my haircut today as well. Instead, I went with another "stylist" Because she was more expensive, I expected her to be a better " stylist". I was wrong. Her service was terrible. She did not cut my hair the way I wanted...too short. Did not get the full 60 minutes even though I paid for the 15 year. Her other client was running late, so I guess that made it okay to cut my time short?!? And her attitude when I pointed out that my hair needed to be thinned out and that it was also puffing out and needed to be styled or patted down was terrible. I scheduled my sons cut right after mine, but because she decided to cut my time short...had to wait 45 minutes for my sons hair cut and only offered a drink later in my sons appointment. Where is that spectacular service you advertised? Once again, Rachel was great, but overall experience was terrible. I felt bad for not tipping Rachel, but ...I think I could have gone to one of those $10 places and got a better experience for fraction of the price. I hear the service is better at the Uptown location. The Frisco location needs work. The Boardroom has a better atmosphere/ service. And the level of haircut is about the same. I'm going to update my review to the one I originally posted, which can be read below, based on the customer outreach experience I've had alone. After I posted my review I received messages from Kevin and Tanner apologizing for the tech issues. Tanner requested my email address and sent me a voucher for the 50% discount off any hair cutting service. Kevin sent me an email explaining that this was indeed a technological issue and had been resolved, and that I should have received the email from the sites promotion. I did receive it, but I also received a text message with an explanation that had a joke about the IT department, which was probably just the IT department practicing self deprecation in order to alleviate the tension. Either way, multiple forms of contact were made to apologize and resolve the matter, which is greatly appreciated. Now, work has amped up and I just have to find the time to get there! It looks cool, and from the website supposes to be an enjoyable experience. However, when you visit their website, an offer pops up offering half off any hair cut at their new location, and when I filled out the information - email address and phone number - nothing was ever sent to me. I tried twice, just in case I misspelled my email address, but still received nothing. It seems like a ploy to get someone's information and spam them with marketing emails. Again, this is only based off of an experience not having to do with actual service, which may be great, but it creates a slight hesitation to venture in with the fear that they may be trained to "upsell" unnecessary services. read more

The stylist i had seemed like she was in a bad mood.
