I can't rave about this place enough! I absolutely adore Daniel, Bella and the entire staff! Every morning when I drop off, everyone says hello to Ellie and shower her with affection. Even teachers that haven't been in her class before make it a point to say "Good Morning" and complement her or give her a hug. Ellie usually walks through and waves to everyone like she owns the place. She's been learning so much from them too! She sings a ton of different songs and every day she comes home with something new to say or sing. We just had another baby and can't wait for him to start there too. We have been considering moving to a different county but this day care is what is holding us back for now. That's how much we adore this place! If you're on the fence about choosing a day care center, let me tell you, you won't be disappointed with Kiddie Academy of Centreville! Original 2016: We have been enrolled at Kiddie Academy for 3 months now. At first visit, we loved this place because the smaller classrooms and the video streaming capability. But the hours and the prices weren't comparable to the area. So we went with a different daycare initially. After a horrific ordeal with that other place, we decided as parents that we would make this decision for our infant, not because of money or convenience and I am so glad that we did. Somehow, we are able to make it work scheduling wise and it's about more expensive than other places but we were able to make that work too. The staff is absolutely amazing! The kids love their teachers, the parents love the staff and the communication I get from Kiddie Academy is more than I could have imagined. I get pictures and updates through the app and able to log on and see my kid anytime of the day. I can't believe there aren't ANY reviews out here for them because this place is amazing!

I communicated with Ms. Kaltun, the director and I must say, after speaking to her once, I was "sold" at putting my son at her school. She is very personable, very kind and understanding, genuine and just listened to my questions, concerns and answered them confidently which gave me peace of mind sending my son over to a school during the pandemic. We then went to the school for a tour and met Ms. Komala, our son's primary teacher. At first meeting, our son felt very comfortable with her and he never forgot her name even tho it took us about 4 months before starting in class- she sure gave him a good impression and really showed us how much she cared for the children. I have so much good things to say about the school. I have recommended them to my friends and coworkers who also had good experience with them. Overall, this is a place that cares about our children, they do not look at them as numbers like all the others. If you want quality education and a safe place for your children, this is it.

The thing that I really appreciate about the teachers is the fact that they want to learn more about the respective cultures of the student body so that they can prepare them for the diverse world that exists outside of the school. My daughter is part of such a warm and welcoming environment, so much so that they even invited parents to come in and contribute towards a special event yesterday to better understand and appreciate the importance of Lunar New Year to my family and the other families that celebrate. When I brought my daughter to her class, I overheard the following comments from the director and some other teachers in the pre-k class "oh, stop whining", "don't be a cry baby", "(behind an angry little boy) nobody talks to him, don't say or do anything to him". I thought it was weird but I didn't think too much. My daughter is very outgoing and playful. She was also advanced compared to other kids her age. When she went to pre-k, the teacher only taught the class to sing and dance all day. After a couple of weeks, when she got to preschool class, I realized I couldn't find her on the camera during nap time. When I called in a couple of times to ask where she was, I was simply told she was sleeping in the corner. I trusted the teacher, didn't question anything. The teacher didn't tell me anything about my daughter. A few days later, I saw my daughter's bedsheet and pillow thrown on the floor in the corner of the classroom on camera, but I couldn't see her. I waited for 30 minutes to see if the teacher was going to do anything. Nothing happened. So I called in to ask if she was okay. The teacher blamed her for keep throwing her pillow to the floor, so they just left her alone, in the corner of the classroom where neither teacher nor the parent could see. The director explained it as if she agreed with what the teacher was doing. Then I asked what she was mad about; I didn't get the answer. I guess they didn't know. They didn't bother to find out why she was mad. I was told she had had problems napping for some time. I was wondering why no one told me anything about this. I started to pay more attention to the camera throughout the day. I found that every single day, my daughter was the only one who had to sleep under the rack where all kids' backpacks were hanging above her bed. That's also a blind spot on the camera so I wouldn't find out if I don't keep staring at the app. She was the only kid who got to sleep there, far away from other kids, during nap time every day. The teacher would sit next to all the other kids, pat them to sleep and keep patting them for hours. My daughter was left in the corner, by herself, sad and mad without any help. I started to think about it: I never see her teacher comforting her, or simply giving her a hug. One day, I stepped out of my office early to check out my daughter during nap time. My husband was checking the camera to see what was going on while I was driving: my daughter was left crying for over half an hour while both of the teachers were sitting with the kids who already fell asleep. When I finally saw my daughter, tears were all over her face. She ran to me and told me "shhhh", as if that's all she was told, just to be quiet. My heart was broken.....I wonder why the teacher just cannot sit with her for some time. Why the teacher just doesn't want to play with her. Since other kids are already sleeping, why cannot the teacher cannot free their hands and help her? If you hate my daughter so much, why has no one told me what I need to do about it? I cannot imagine how helpless she must feel all this time. I pay almost $450 a week just so you can do this to my daughter??? And the teacher hides her outside of the camera as if everything is perfectly fine. How convenient?! 3 y/o is when the kids start to develop their values and social skills, and this is the first thing you want them to learn? To single out those you don't like?

We've always felt that our children are safe, well cared for, and encouraged to learn and grow every day. One feature we especially appreciate is the SproutAbout app. It's a great way to stay connected throughout the day by viewing classroom updates and photos of our child. The app also provides the daily schedule, breakfast and lunch menus, and other important updates, making it easy to know what's happening even while we're at work. Having access to the classroom cameras also gives us added peace of mind. The leadership team has always been responsive whenever we've had questions. We have been at Eye Level Fair Ridge since 2016. It started out with just our daughter (then 6…read moreyears old) attending to help her with understanding key math skills. We have tried other learning centers, but none compare to what the teachers here did for her. My husband and I did not know why our child just didn't understand simple math, as we explained it to her and she learned it at school. The curriculum, patience and approach at Eye Level is well suited for children of all ages. We used to struggle with how to help our child and now she is independent in completing her own homework. The teachers have noticed the improvement in her skills and confidence as well. Our son soon started attending. He does well in school, but he saw how his sister enjoyed the eye level classes, so he asked to attend so that he could improve his Reading Comprehension and writing skills. Since he started the English portion, he has not only gained confidence in his writing abilities, but he has improved his comprehension skills. Our kids enjoy going to Eye Level every week. Mr. Vijay, Ms. Eunice, and Ms. Pooja are very good at keeping the pace with children and making it very fun and an interactive environment to learn.

My son loved how the counselors were teenagers who shared the same passion as him and coached him on how to develop maps better. Very nice faculty too where adults can sit in a hallway with a huge glass window and can see what the kids are all doing without disturbing them. Great faculty and staff!
