We feel so fortunate to have discovered Masterpiece Academy for our 8th grader. The teachers did an…read moreexcellent job preparing my son; the pace of each class was just right, it was not too overwhelming, and he especially enjoyed the lectures, particularly those by Mr. Chris. I even think he looked forward to his classes with Masterpiece Academy. When it came time to take the actual tests, he found them challenging but manageable. Thanks to the thorough preparation he received, he knew what to expect and how to structure his answers effectively. As a result, he successfully passed the exams for AOS and Thomas Jefferson High School. I highly recommend Masterpiece Academy to anyone looking for quality academic preparation. Special thanks to Miss Krishna and the entire staff for helping our children excel. If I could, I'd give them 500 stars!

There was insufficient transparency around time commitment, what the program fees included, and overall expectations, which made planning difficult for families. Communication and coordination were inconsistent, and several processes appeared underdeveloped. Of particular concern was how a decision impacting a child was handled and communicated, which did not demonstrate the level of care, empathy, or age-appropriate judgment expected in a youth program. We hope leadership uses this feedback to improve structure, communication, and clearly define scope, fees, and responsibilities. Families may want to ask detailed questions about program expectations and policies before enrolling.

A warning to everyone who wants to enroll their children here: Don't…read more This place is the epitome of greed and laziness. The entire business revolves around taking as much money out of your pockets as possible. First off, a term for two is roughly $460. In addition, each book for each grade costs $40. The teachers are some of the nastiest people you will ever meet. In fact, not a single one of them (with the exception of one) has any qualifications at all! They are simply there because they can speak the language. Most of these women have not worked a single day in their entire lives. This whole place is a sham ran by a con artist to just continuously siphon money out of you. The classes are Saturday, 9:30-12:30, and are a complete waste of time. For lunch, they take the liberty of serving you the same cold pizza, week after week, from the Dominos down the street. To save money, they cut each slice in half, further adding insult to injury. There is no source of water in this place, because, wait for it- it costs too much. The bathrooms are on the level of Porta-potties you see in parks, and all the sinks have mold. Also, the school in its entirety is the size of my garage. And my garage is pretty small. In conclusion, you'd be better off burning all your money and stuffing it into a pillow and then use that pillow to smother yourself. That entire experience is more pleasurable than the 3 years I've been here. While the Farsi language is nice to learn, this place focuses more on the $$$ than on the language. Just look up "farsi guide" on Google- you'd probably learn more.
