Then, she gets contacted by the police saying they didn't pay the invoice. The deputy told them it's a civil matter. My SIL paid the $2900 invoice within an hour of receiving it. It is very unprofessional of these people to First not show up for agreed services and then to actually call the police on an invoice that was a not late. I contacted this business and told them it's illegal for them to file a false police report and they should apologize to my SIL. They told me they aren't apologizing for anything.
