Ten minutes later one barber came out from the back and started playing video games.‍ We were still waiting. Finally the woman finished with her client. She asked my husband what he wanted. They are rude and unprofessional. Wont go back.

I had noticed the shop for years and years and the giant scissors that stand in the front of the shop but had never stopped to check the shop out. As the years have gone on, my haircuts have gotten super expensive but the job done wasn't even close to what used to be done. I saw a woman in Dot's Back Inn a month or so ago and her haircut was almost identical to mine but it was 'right'. I asked her where she got her hair cut and The Hair Shop was her answer and Carolyn was the hairdresser. Today, I had completely lost my cool with the last cut and decided to go there no matter how it came out. I walked in and was immediately greeted by the owner, Chris Meadows, and he was wonderful. He listened to what I wanted, and then the work began. Now it was an added bonus that we both had the same interest in the same kind of music and we knew a lot of the same people, but the best, BEST thing was that my haircut was perfect! He is the first to be able to cut it the way I wanted and it looks soooo good! I told him I was adopting him and would be his regular customer from then on. I went there at the exact right moment, because as he finished with me, people began to come in, and I'll bet they've been going there for years. Some call this a small salon, others call it a barber shop, but I call it Perfect. Chris is a great host, a wizard with scissors, and the price is so reasonable that I felt like it was Christmas. THANK YOU, Chris for being there for me today!

I wanted to find a local barbershop that I could go in between hair appointments, and I sashayed shante myself into SU. What a pleasant surprise, the shop was laid out! Unfortunately, I didn't get the gentleman's name who shaped me up, but he was very pleasant, welcoming and greeted me warmly upon entering ( customer service is key!). This was my first visit into the shop, and getting a cut for myself in a barber shop. I guess he was my first, lol. The music was bumping and the place had a cool vibe.
