I was a walk-in around 2pm on a Monday. I explained what I wanted in my haircut and left thinking it was mission accomplished because it looked ok on location. Got home and wife hated the haircut because it didn't turn out the same as previous cuts from elsewhere. Next day after a shower, the haircut looked even worse. No biggie. I'll just try a different stylist next time. Clean interior. Would love to see better pricing. A simple cut (no wash) took about 15 mins and ran $34 with tip.

I scheduled this four days ago because I have a packed day of business meetings and needed this haircut before work. I've been coming here for two years and paying $50-$60 every time, so showing up to a locked shop with zero communication is honestly pretty unacceptable. If you knew you were going to be closed, the bare minimum would have been emailing or calling the people who already had appointments. Instead, I rearranged my morning for nothing. I'd really like someone to call me back and explain what's going on, because this is a pretty frustrating way to treat regular clients.

She helped to rectify a botched job from a previous barber at a franchise down the street. She even gave me a complimentary trim when she noticed I needed one. I'm happy that she'll be retiring after doing this for 40+ years. She deserves some R&R, but I'm so bummed to be back on the hunt for a good barber who doesn't cost an arm and a leg. I want to stay local (within a 15 minute drive) and really need the convenience of walking in. Ms. Katherine satisfied both of these wants/needs.
