I wondered if she had paid any attention to what she was doing. Come to find out, about a year later, the filling she had performed, fell out. I went to a more esteemed dentist in Hartford and he told me that the filling that she performed went all the way to the root and she should have performed a root canal. Another office recommended very pricey implants or a flipper, and would not take her insurance. Dr. Bascetta was able to do a bridge, and it looks so real! Darlene, the office manager, has been going overboard to get the insurance to cover it. It's still unresolved, but they didn't wait to treat the problem! My mother has Alzheimer's, and the patience and care they've given her has been so kind! They also take Medicare supplemental plans like WellCare, which isn't easy to find!

A…read moreweek ago, I went to a different dentist who told me I had multiple cavities and needed 14 fillings. As someone who has never had a cavity or filling before, this was alarming! I called the Dental Associates of Wethersfield after that and asked to be seen for a second opinion. They were able to get me in for a same-week appointment, and turns out I have no cavities! I am so relieved and I have Dr. DeFilippo to thank for that. He is very knowledgeable and put my concerns to rest.
