I had an issue with an unexplained rash and the horrible itching that came along with it. I figured it had something to do with all the meds I take. After trying to get it under control and not getting very far, I called Schweitzer Dermatology Group in Howell. I was lucky enough to get an appointment within that hour and saw Iris Hatziminas,PA-C. She was absolutely wonderful. She was kind, considerate, compassionate and EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND PROFESSIONAL. She ordered blood work and took a really painless section for biopsy. She was done before I knew it. She then ordered medications and for the time being all is well. I can't thank her enough for getting me in and giving me the attention I was in such desperate need of. I've been with Schweiger Dermatology for many decades, so stayed with them when moving from New York to New Jersey. The Howell office is only15 minutes away from where I live now, so the convenience factor is very high. On this, my first visit to this office, I found the personnel to be extremely friendly and attentive, both at the reception desk and in the exam room. I arrived 5 min prior to my appt.. Office was spotless bright and seats well spaced. The young woman at the front desk was very cordial and helpful. I only waited about 5 min. I met Larissa. She was personable and put me at ease. I was there for work on my scalp. 3 were biopsied and the rest of what appear to be keritosis were frozen. I left feeling fine with a promise of a call from Larissa with the biopsy results. This is the second appointment I've had at this location and am really impressed with not only their professionalism but also just being genuine people. Sometime when I go to a doctor I feel like I'm at a "Get them in, get them out" clinic. You won't get that here. Iris Hatziminas is the absolute best Dermatology provider I've seen. Not only is she highly skilled in Derm, she is a fabulous Botox and Juvederm injector. She has a skilled eye and knows exactly where the injectables should be placed. I recommend all my friends and family to Iris at Schweiger Dermatology.
