Not sure if this was a penalty due to them having to make a call. We were called in at 3:30. This was set up over the phone as a rush,for my husband. I am very stressed. After being taken to a back room, a woman entered and stated she was there to take information. She…read morethen informed me she would be inserting an IV and performing a test before administering contrast dye. When she inserted the IV, she was unable to get it to work. Instead of removing and restarting properly, she repeatedly moved the needle in and out of my vein. This was uncomfortable and concerning. Eventually, she removed the IV and wrapped my arm. She called for another woman to assist, but when that person was unavailable, a man nearby stated he could help. She agreed and left the room. The second staff member applied the tourniquet extremely tightly. I told him it was very tight. When he inserted the IV needle, I immediately told him it was very painful and that something did not feel right. Despite this, he continued. When he attempted to inject fluid, it infiltrated into my arm rather than into the vein, and the area around the site visibly swelled. Only then did he remove the needle. I have never had difficulty with IV placement or blood draws in the past, including blood work done just two weeks prior without issue. This experience was painful, distressing, and felt improperly handled. I am especially concerned that my repeated statements about pain and discomfort were not taken seriously.

Almost 5 months later I receive a bill for the service. When I called an explained I paid in cash on date of service, they said it could take about a month for them to look into it. Never received a call stating the outcome of the research but did get a FINAL BILL notice. They are very unprofessional. NEVER give cash because it might end up in someones pocket. The only upside is that I did receive an MRI just one month prior to the bone scan and paid with cash for this procedue. I gave cash but this payment did go thru. I will never pay for these procedures with cash again.

This is the one that is located next to the Brownwood Hotel and also... just for reference... Wolfgang Puck restaurant. There is also a Starbucks in the very near perimeter. The ladies that work at Lake Medical Imaging (Brownwood location) where extremely attentive to my mother as they got her ready for her CT scan. For the first time ever ... I didn't mind "hanging out" in the office there while I waited for my mother to finish her CT Scan.

Two of the three worked in healthcare before they retired. All three people had the highest compliments for every aspect of their experience. All three went at different times. One during a weekday, one at early evening and the third over the weekend. In all three cases they found every employee to be so helpful, kind and customer focused. The quality of the care they received was excellent. The facility was clean and well maintained. There was simply nothing negative that could be said about their experience! And all three received follow up phone calls to check on them the next day! This is a wonderful urgent care operation. Great quality of care delivered by caring and friendly people.
