Easy parking? Yup, plenty of spots. Gas station? Yup, there's a Mobil here. Restrooms? Yup, clean and neat with a gizmo I've never seen before. Built-in hand dryers in each sink unit. Food and snacks? Yup, a big Applegreen convenience store. Coffee and donuts? Hell yes, a nice Dunkin where I bought a great cold brew. There's not a lot else here. In fact, there's nothing else other than what I described. But all of your travel essentials here.

If you are looking for a drink or food you'll find Burger King, Starbucks, and Panera Bread for chains. Otherwise they have the convenience style store Applegreen. Lastly if you want more of a self-serve non Starbucks coffee when you walk in they have a self-serve coffee area. They also have a limited amount of seating options to enjoy your food/drinks while taking a break. Prices for any of those places and gas are higher than you'd like to pay but not surprising since your options are limited to this spot. It is the best option to avoid having to leave the highway system.

I do feel this is one of the better ones, and maybe lessons were learned from feedback on the first ones. This plaza has a lot more space for folks to sit or enjoy something to eat and drink. It's also nice that all the restaurants in this plaza are open on Sundays (which is currently not the case for many of the plazas westbound). The combination of Panera, Burger King, and Starbucks works well. I think the "U" shaped men's room is also an inefficient design, but I'm also satisfied to see multiple "family" style rest rooms available. I think a lot of other folks prefer this plaza, as it seemed busier than a lot of the other plazas eastbound on the Thruway.

As oppposed to spilling an open cup or a soda, in which case a "lot falls", generally speaking. Little Falls is a beautiful town in the heavily wooded area of Upstate Central New York. It has the Interstate 90 Turnpike plowing right through it unfortunately, but it's still gorgeous. I stop here regularly for the rest area, and the air is usually beautiful despite the highway. Gas and food are extremely overpriced here, so try to avoid getting them, but it's still a lovely town. On the negative side, 97% of inhabitants are white, so there's basically zero diversity. But it's not a rich town, it's a little on the poor side, and the main street is so pretty (and typical too) that they recently filmed a 2018 horror movie here.

These AppleGreens are the convenient store of the East Coast, for if you get off the turnpike the toll will just bill your license plate. They are all inclusive for the area. Actually it's a great little store inside. Along the wayside, this is where the humans go for snacks and drinks, and the potty . The car parks outside at the gas pump station and gets its fuel. They are separate entities. It's wild, being from the West Coast . You feel like an outsider. "Being that outsider," we are going to just see what these little applegreens have to offer. The unique experience is different station to station too. On a road trip, I'm the individual that has to go potty every few hours. So we have to stop "a lot !" This particular roadtrip, we spent a lot of time in these road side shops. It was great . This is better than others. They have comfortable chairs and even places to sit for a while. The snacks are a local flavor. We actually found chocolate covered Oreos. We are in upper New York, and we still found trinkets with New York City badging for a souvenir. The experience at these little shops is quite different and unique compared to where we live. Time to get to living and enjoying life again. When you stop have fun doing it see how life is different from your ways.

I stayed here after visiting Cooperstown for the Glimmerglass Opera Festival. I'm a swimmer so I loved the outdoor pool! The continental breakfast was standard fare like coffee, oatmeal, yogurt muffins, hard boiled eggs. It's not fancy but did the trick to get us on the road. There is a Denny's across the parking lot if you want a hot breakfast. This is one of the nicest budget hotels I've stayed in and I'd definitely return.
