Unfortunately, because we were on a tour, we did not get to choose from the full menu and instead were served only potatoes, sausage, pork roast, and apple strudel. The foods tasted very good. Although food quality was exceptional, (curry flavor augmented the wurst and it did not overpower the wurst), the flow to order, pick-up & bus was a bit chaotic. Trash receptacles were hard to locate and the place to order too far away from entry point with no clear signage leading to the right place. Fortunately you could eat inside or outside on the patio smack within Alexanderplatz which is a great location to people watch. Overall a good self serve experience as the food was worth the experience of getting food in a foreign country!

We knew we had to go at least once and I am so glad we did! We ordered via one of the kiosks and it was extremely easy to use with English as a language option. I ended up getting the classic poutine (with garlic fries and jalapenos added) and my husband got a vegan Instanbul street fries (with falafel instead of the chicken kebab). We very much enjoyed watching the staff work in the kitchen and I LOVE that they had vegetarian and vegan options. Vegetarian poutine is so rare that whenever I see it, I almost always get it! These fries did not disappoint - they were loaded! The gravy in the poutine had excellent flavor and the cheese curds were a little melty and super stretchy. They also piled high with the jalapenos! My husband loved his fries equally and I really liked the yogurt dip. I would definitely recommend this place.

We came here after having been turned away by an Indonesian restaurant that was "full for the night". We are so glad that fate brought us here instead of that Indonesian restaurant!! What were we even thinking anyway -- forget the Indonesian food, get the local specialities!! Ordered the schnitzel as well as the meatballs and both were executed perfectly. Schnitzel was hot and crispy on the outside and tender on the inside -- not overly salty either. Meatballs were juicy and packed with flavor from the minced onions that they had mixed in. The beer (we ordered a Pilsner) was the best that we had tried in all of the Berlin and Dresden restaurants that we visited. I believe it is from some small private brewery affiliated with the restaurant somehow. Whatever they are doing, they are doing it right, so definitely order the house beer. Super cozy seating (you'll probably be sharing a table with other guests) and packed all night long but amazing vibes and casual comfort food. Would come back if I ever visit Berlin again!

I had pinned this place as a go to because the food on his show looked AMAZING. My friend and I came here after exploring around Alexanderplatz and the Christmas markets. The subways in Berlin are pretty easy to navigate so it was a quick 10 minute subway ride from Alexanderplatz' Christmas market. The food (10/10) - I got the rindergoulasch (with pickled cabbage and potato dumplings), the goulash was pretty tender and cooked really well. I also really liked the potato dumplings because they almost had a gelatinous texture so it felt like I was eating a mochi, so chewy and so yummy! The potatoes also soak up the sauce well. I like how nicely pickled the cabbage was as well. It was the perfect for the cold Berlin winter. The drink was good too, I got basically a hot toddy which is just heated liquor with hot water. If you like whiskey based drinks I think this could be good but it's definitely on the less sweet side. Check this place out, food is great!
