Since I was out of town and unable to go to Dr. Farrell's office during that time, I contacted the office and was met with the most genuine care, compassion, and concern I could have asked for. Dr. Farrell personally called to check on me three days in a row, including over the weekend, to make sure I was receiving the care I needed and was as comfortable as possible. What could have been a very scary and stressful experience was made so much more manageable because I felt genuinely cared for and supported throughout the entire process. His dedication to his patients truly goes above and beyond. I am incredibly grateful to have been one of his patients and would recommend Dr. Farrell and his team 100%! Truly an amazing patient experience!

I have always taken very good care of my teeth & upon being able to finally get in with for a consultation, he did not see the tooth to be in need of same & referred me for dry needling shots as my insurance paid for it & assured me would resolve the issue. After several months of the treatments, I realized it was not fixing the problem at all. My immediate attempts to make an appt with Dr McClure (Lauren) were hopeless...Was advised would be 4 wks as 2 of his associates had left practice & he was short-staffed. Thank God I found Gerich Endodontists in Jacksonville who immediately started taking steps to resolve & save my tooth....CARING, PROFESSIONAL & SO DIFFERENT THAN ST.JOHNS ENDODONTISTS. Hide quoted text I am so glad I kept Dr. McClure's recap letter regarding his referral rather than treatment process in January. I have posted on every Social Media site in this avenue/areas of the dental/medical field. After working 35+ years in the Finance Corp Mgmt field & always having cleanings every 6 months, taking VERY good care of my teeth, I am surprised St. Johns Endodontists retains him as I am sure other individuals have been impacted by his lack of care for any patient. Referring a patient out for a questionable treatment does not resolve the root problem and shows the lack of integrity of St. Johns Endodontists overall by this Endodontist..... I have had so many people reach out to me since posting across my Social Media about Dr. McClure's uncaring, unprofessional nature, outrageous costs, postponed or erroneous information given to them, one even today that stated that once he found out she had no dental insurance her fees doubled, as well as the "consultation quote." What a shame St. Johns Endodontists would employ such an individual in the dental/medical avenues. His Corporate Staff/Mgmt appears to be taking action to make sure he is monitored more closely to prevent more damage to others affected by his actions. Deb Strickland

A Smile Is a Choice. Safety Is Not. -- My Experience at ClearChoice Jacksonville…read more I never imagined I would be writing this review. I came to ClearChoice Jacksonville with the hope of restoring my smile and improving my quality of life. A smile is personal -- it affects your confidence, your comfort, and how you show up in the world. Unfortunately, my experience as a patient has been extremely disappointing and stressful. After beginning treatment, I experienced ongoing pain and complications that significantly impacted my daily life. As my concerns increased, I made multiple attempts to communicate directly with the Jacksonville ClearChoice office and resolve my concerns privately before sharing my experience publicly. During my visits, I raised concerns regarding my care and the environment where I was receiving treatment. One of my major concerns was repeatedly having to remind staff about hand hygiene before gloves were placed on. As a patient trusting a dental office with an extensive procedure, I did not expect to feel responsible for repeatedly advocating for basic safety practices. I am also a disabled veteran and communicated my disability-related concerns to the office. During one of my visits, I noticed a dog present inside the dental office. I asked the front desk receptionist whose dog it was, and I was informed that it was the dentist's service dog. I expressed my concerns based on my disability and my need to feel comfortable and safe while receiving care. I requested consideration regarding my treatment environment. My concern was not about denying anyone else's accommodation. My concern was about communicating my own disability-related needs as a patient and requesting that they be addressed respectfully. Unfortunately, I left the interaction feeling that my concerns were not handled with the understanding and compassion I expected from a healthcare provider. As my pain continued, I requested my medical records and treatment documentation so I could fully understand my care and provide the necessary information for continued treatment. Despite multiple attempts to communicate and follow up, I have experienced delays and a lack of response to my requests. What has been most upsetting is not only the physical pain, but also the feeling of not being heard as a patient. I made every effort to communicate respectfully and provide opportunities for resolution before sharing my experience publicly. After exhausting those efforts, I am sharing my story because patients deserve to make informed decisions when choosing a provider for something as important as their health and their smile. Dental implant treatment is a major decision -- financially, physically, and emotionally. Patients deserve clear communication, compassion, safety, and trust throughout the entire process. My hope is that ClearChoice Jacksonville takes patient concerns seriously and uses feedback like this as an opportunity to improve communication, patient care, and the overall patient experience. Initially I thought I was going to need three teeth pulled but Dr. Robinson recommended only two and explain to me the reason why he was going to recommend two instead of whole three. I also explained my need for deep cleaning and he took the time to measure the gums when I didn't have an appointment for that so that I could get my deep cleaning to coincide with my teeth that needed to be pulled since I need to be sedated because I'm a big baby They were pretty quick to get me scheduled in within two weeks. And well, they don't accept my insurance or they are considered out of network with my insurance. They will go ahead and file all of the paperwork for me. The office staff was extremely friendly. The doctor was very knowledgeable and the doctor also called my dentist while I was waiting on the price quote to make sure that my dentist and him were on the same page. Not excited to have my teeth pulled or the deep cleaning, but I'm very happy that I was referred to this place. I love the type of sedation they give you because it's not IV. 1-Star Review -- Avoid at All Costs…read more I would strongly advise anyone considering this oral surgeon to look elsewhere. My experience was extremely disappointing and uncomfortable. The way the doctor speaks to and treats her employees in front of patients is incredibly rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional. No patient should have to sit and witness employees being spoken to in such a demeaning manner. What was even more concerning was the complete lack of empathy and compassion shown toward patients. An oral surgery appointment can already be an extremely stressful and anxiety-inducing experience, and patients deserve to feel heard, respected, and cared for. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. The overall environment felt uncomfortable and unwelcoming. A medical professional should lead by example, treat their staff with respect, and show compassion toward the people trusting them with their care. Based on my experience, I would recommend avoiding this office and finding an oral surgeon who genuinely values both their patients and their employees.
