If you are a serious musician, I do not recommend James…read more He quoted me $300 for a tuning, well above the roughly $180 local market rate I had been seeing. Given the neighborhood and the piano, the pricing felt opportunistic. I specifically requested a well temperament. He was unable to do it and did not appear familiar with the temperament systems I was referring to, so no tuning was performed. I literally sent him home with an article on temperament tuning to read. I also asked him to investigate a buzz. He removed the action, found nothing, and was unable to diagnose the problem. He then tried to charge me $200 for simply removing and reinstalling the action. We eventually settled on $120 for the 45 minutes he spent at my house. So, to summarize: no tuning, no diagnosis, and a $200 attempted charge for pulling an action. For someone with a serious instrument or specific musical requirements, I would look elsewhere.

In Current Day I found a family - including an 11-yr old daughter desperately wanting to learn to play - to regift My piano to. Francisco & crew picked My baby up this morning, and she arrived safely in her new home. So, mission accomplished. Yayy, Me! Francisco - the face of Paco's Piano Movers - was friendly (treated Me like a human being worthy of respect & compassion), approachable (didn't talk down to Me as if I was a dumb customer), responsive (returned My calls expeditiously), flexible in his dealings (honest pricing & aware of the real life details versus just the conceptual service He provides)... basically worthy not just of these 5 stars, but also the actual dollars that exchanged hands. I was so stressed about moving the piano - I didn't want the recipient Family to toss it in the back of their SUV and get hurt *Bad* or destroy the piano *Worse* - and the pickup took literally less than 15 mins. The entire delivery took about an hour (5 miles btwn us). The new Family was so happy & grateful & excited, and I also felt immense relief and joy at being able to send the piano off to where it would get well loved & well used. Thank You, Francisco & Guys, for making this dream manifest into real life. I Appreciate You :-) sincerely, Shirley

My son and daughter have been taking piano lessons here for nearly a year. The setup at this studio…read moreis that parents wait outside in the waiting room while the children go in with the teacher. There are cameras in the lesson rooms, but parents do not have access to them, only the business owner does. Occasionally, I would sit in with my children, but later I was asked to remain in the waiting room as the teacher felt the kids distracted each other. Recently, a very concerning incident occurred. My son told me that during his lesson, his teacher showed him an image to demonstrate "good posture." When he first described it to me, I wasn't sure what kind of picture it was, and I initially gave the teacher the benefit of the doubt. However, when I later asked Miss Lee (the owner) and the teacher to show me the same image, I was shocked to see what it was. The picture had no real connection to piano playing or posture and, in my opinion, was completely inappropriate in the given context, especially considering it was shown to my son alone in a room with his male teacher. To be clear, the photo itself was not offensive on its own. What made this troubling was the context and lack of relevance to piano instruction. I felt it crossed a boundary of professionalism. I brought this issue directly to both the owner and the teacher on Friday, August 29th, and was told that it would be reviewed with their board. I am sharing this so that other parents are fully informed about the environment and practices here. Every parent has the right to decide what they are comfortable with for their child's lessons, and for me, this situation raised serious concerns.
