At the appraisal, 5 days before closing the buyer took pictures of the home. The buyer contacted me immediately after entering the home as items in the home and garage are removed. I had to pay the buyer to replace these items. This was a horrible experience for my family and the buyer. Mr. Huffman and his team should remember the cardinal rule, treat others how you want others to treat you and if someone is nasty to you, let them vent then apologize, empathize and strategize

We wanted a two-story with a big kitchen with newer appliances and she was always trying to show us run-down single-story dumps. Plus, she was always late! We often spent 20 or more minutes waiting outside of houses for her. We wanted to use the that rural development mortgage, which had some thorough requirements. She kept trying to tell us that they weren't serious and that a few cracked windows or a leaky basement wasn't the end of the deal. It's too bad, we really love Marquette, but after seeing the garbage houses that she foisted upon us, we decided that renting a few more months and then relocating was preferable to getting trapped in one of their money pits.

I have seen multiple cars in the lot every single day without stickers. When the snow comes along at 9 am they come and brush off all the windows to find your apartment number on your sticker so they can fine you $20. If you don't have the sticker they don't tow your car; they do nothing. They just care about their little scams they have to make a quick buck off their tenants. other than that the maintenance workers are very quick and friendly but they arent exactly part of the management which is where the problem is.... renting from a small private owner from now on.

It is nice they provide plowing at some places, but the inconsistency is hard to plan around as sometimes they come before the given time or sometimes after when I already assumed they had came to plow. Also, prices are substantially high compared to other rentals in the area and we aren't getting anything special. On another note, they threaten to tow vehicles that aren't registered to the place even if they are friends or family staying for a few hours and I think that with the price we pay a month we should be able to have guests over at our liking and have them be able to park off the street, especially in the winter. What harm is that we pay to live there! My dad got a ticket and warning parking there overnight while he was helping me move in last spring! That is ridiculous in my opinion. Overall, we have not been pleased at all the last 8 months as we feel we are being babysat and watched 24/7 over what we do in our own home. I'm a grown adult and I don't need someone watching over what I do and threatening me over stuff that should not affect them. I am mostly annoyed about the towing of cars as it shouldn't not be a big deal if someone parks overnight on the property if they are guests visiting. Do not recommend at all!!

As a former student of mine at Negaunee High School, Travis Ryan was at the top of his class. So…read morewhen it came time to sell my house, he was the first realtor I called at FreshDoor Real Estate. Travis was so great to work with and extremely professional. He went through all the steps of selling my house including figuring out a reasonable and accurate asking price. Travis was very willing to answer all my questions and goes well beyond what you would normally expect from an average realtor. I could easily give him a call or text and he would get back to me as soon as he could. I would highly recommend Travis to anyone looking to buy or sell a house. Travis, along with his brother Tyler, had my house photographed and ready to be listed in a short amount of time. Tyler's video work and online tour created an accurate depiction of what the seller was going to see when they scheduled a showing. I could never have imagined within 6 days of my house being listed that I would receive 8 offers all above the asking price. This is another reason why I would highly recommend Travis Ryan for all your real estate needs. Whether you're buying or selling, call Travis at FreshDoor Real Estate and see what he and his crew can do for you.
