The carpet installation went well; however, they left the carpet on the main level smelling like urine. It was so bad we had to open windows and doors to air out the house while we finished renovating the home. I called them shortly after to advise them of what happened, to which they apologized for and said they would have someone come back out to reclean and get the smell out. I heard nothing back, so I called again a couple weeks later. Got the same response, that someone would come out to clean the home again. I heard nothing back again. I called in September and in October to check on the status, only to be ignored. I called back in January and spoke with a manager, who immediately scheduled the cleaning appointment for me. Two days before the cleaning, we got a call canceling our appointment, stating that their van was down for maintenance. We rescheduled for two weeks later, only to get yet another call only an hour before our appointment saying that their van was still down. They offered no rescheduling option on that phone call. I ended up hiring another company that day to come out and clean, making us pay double for a carpet cleaning at this point. I called this business back to let them know I found someone else, but got no answer, instead going to voicemail. I tried again a bit later, and then even later, getting the same result each time. I started getting suspicious, so I called them using another phone and they immediately picked up. I attempted to reach out to the owner, Tim, with an explanation of what had occurred and asked him to help rectify this situation, so that I wouldn't have to get to the point of leaving a bad review, but I got no response. I waited 3 weeks and then resent the email to him, asking for a response as soon as he was able to, but I have still yet to get a response. This company is extremely unprofessional, and the customer service is abhorrent. Please consider other companies instead of this one so nothing like this happens to you.

Besides painting the walls, they did an excellent job of repairing and patching the small holes and dings in the drywall. Everything was done to our satisfaction and the painters did an excellent job. The previous owners had painted over some wallpaper glue in the power room and it was proving very stubborn to get rid of. They worked extremely hard to make the room look great again and didn't give up until it did. Robert was an extremely friendly and knowledgeable individual as well. On March 14th Michael came to our house to talk to us about our plans. We felt that he understood what we wanted and looked forward to getting an estimate in a week or so. Three months and a few e-mails later we have neither an estimate nor a response to our emails. We understand this may have been a smaller project than what Michael normally takes on but he could have afforded us the common courtesy of a phone call letting us know he wasn't interested in this project. It's too bad because we have several other larger future projects that we thought we would have had Michael's Homes take care of for us.

The plumber was domineering and outright rude, and his gestures were threatening. He did not…read morerespect the boundaries I was attempting to establish when I tried to de-escalate his aggression toward me. His company, whom I did not talk to about his inappropriate behaviors, added a message to my record stating not to do business with me again. I discovered this message when I called to have the plumber's work evaluated due to possible issues I was having regarding his work. The Office Manager stated although she and the others in the office did not work for Trudell when this occurred, I would have to discuss this further with the owners since they already had a conversation with me and made the determination not to do business with me. I responded that I had not talked with the owners and that the phone number she stated was in error. It became apparent the plumber had misrepresented me to the owners, and the owners did not care to investigate what had occurred. I waited a few days to see if the owners would contact me, but since they did not, I decided to review this company with a red flag warning with a comment "Very Poor Customer Service."
