We were lucky enough to learn about Amanda Collins Photography through Viaggio Winery's preferred vendor list, and I couldn't be happier to have Amanda as our wedding photographer. Not only did the pictures end up absolutely gorgeous (and delivered in a reasonable timeframe with near-immediate social media previews) but having Amanda and her husband there genuinely made my wedding experience more enjoyable and seamless. They also did an excellent job in getting both black and white and color shots, as well as a good combination of posed and candid photos. I honestly couldn't be happier with the pictures. It might be worth noting that we had a Persian wedding ceremony, which meant a bit more of an elaborate setup including something called the Soreh Aghd. Amanda and Chandler did an incredible job capturing the details of the Sofreh Aghd. It was very reassuring to know that she took care to capture the cultural elements of our wedding with such attention to detail and precision. Additionally, Amanda went absolutely above and beyond the duties of a photographer- from taking care of my immensely complicated bustle, to acting as a security guard for some overly interested passerby near the ceremony site (lol). We had to reschedule a few times due to COVID, but finally got to do the shoot. Well, I got the time wrong and we were left with a little less than an hour to shoot with daylight! Kelly made it work, wasn't flustered and got some amazing shots! She knew where to go to get the best backdrops, light and had great ideas for variety. After reviewing the photos, we got to pick from a selection of different packages. Some were digital only, some with various prints, canvases, albums etc. You only pay for what you want but if you want a lot, the top packages are the way to go. We originally just wanted digitals just to get some printed to remember this chapter but the photos turned out so good that we ended up getting a canvas and an album too. We are going to be able to pick up the physical items 2 weeks after the viewing, overall everything has been a really quick turn around. After seeing our maternity photos, we ended up booking a 3 part package for when our son is born (new born, 6month and 1yr). We can't wait! I would highly recommend! We live about 45/50min away from her studio but we were so impressed with her work from her website and IG (before booking) that it was worth the drive specifically to work with her. And now that we have worked with her, we can confirm that we were right about that. Even if she's a drive, her talent is worth the journey!
